Toby Tavern in West Lancashire

Went for breakfast early Friday morning. Nice warm welcome as soon as we entered and the selection in the self-service was very good and there was plenty of it. The sausages were really good quality, not like cheap chippy ones and the eggs were cooked perfectly. Just missing a bit of black pudding but I've still given it 5 stars and will certainly come back in future.

Came in for our easter Sunday dinner yesterday and we had a great time.We were greeted at the door by the lovely chris who took us to our table.Our server Billy was very attentive and made sure everything was okay with our food and made us feel comfortable and made us laugh, a credit to the team. The food was amazing and fresh served by the chef victor. There were loads of options for vegetarians and meat eaters with a huge selection of veg.Thank you we will be coming again.

We had a lovely meal which was served by an outstanding waitress named Olivia. She was very knowledgeable when we asked about the food and drinks that Toby carvery served. She was quick to serve us and made us feel extremely welcomed and comfortable. Once we finished our meals she politely came over and asked if we had finished our food and if she could take the plates away. She is an extremely polite, friendly, knowledgeable young lady and she is a credit to the restaurant.

Went for breakfast, the food and selection was good and I’d definitely go back again. Only negative is the lack of food availability, I understand they try to keep it fresh which is great. However, you are often waiting for items to be brought out to the buffet and with everyone doing the same often fresh food is all gone if your not quick.

Lovely friendly staff.. we only had snacks this time, which were tasty and freshly prepared. Next time we will have the carvery..which looked lovely. Very clean and plenty of well spaced out tables,ideal for couples or families. Well worth a visit! Great value.

Cant beat a toby carvery, we go here weekly and it is by far one of the best. Not too busy and staff very friendly and welcoming. Keep up the good work and good food!

the service was exemplary, my companion is gluten free and the staff made every effort to accommodate her needs. The food was excellent, a good portion of roasted meats from the carvery and an interesting array of vegetables, including a leek bake and a parsnip and potato gratin. The only area for improvement was that there were no pigs in blankets. These had to be bought as an extra.

Absolutely fantastic service from everybody last night (19/12/21) I had a stroke in September and walk with a crutch. They could not have been more accommodating. Found me a table bear the entrance actually brought my food to me after asking me what I'd like and as a had to use the toilet before leaving allowed me to use the doors near to them to exit.All staff were brilliant, and a credit to the company.

Place got busy while we where eating. Good parking nice family friendly carvery. Happy staff good service even when busy. Kids loved it tho they only really wanted Yorkshire puds and desert. Carvery a where fair size with good options of veg and sides. Will come again.

Brilliant Carvery! Excellent value for money and the food and sides are excellent. I did have the king size but not really needed as the Yorkshire’s are a country in themselves and was too full for the chipolatas. Will definitely go again. Great service from the staff.
