Wan's in West Lancashire

Wrong sauce, asked for satay and got curry, chewy salt and pepper chicken and tofu both doused with some overpowering oil and ruined the crispy aspect to the batter.Sat heavy and was far from good for me. Typical western Chinese takeaway food, 5/10. Not ordering again.

Always faultless, traditional Chinese food, also a large English menu. Delivery service is great. If you're on foot, you can always order in the shop, there is plenty of seating for you while you wait. 👍

Received our takeaway and I have to say it was the nicest and tastiest we have had. We have eaten chineses food all over the country and this is by far the best.

The best Chinese for miles. Highly recommend the salt and pepper chickenz, chicken curry, spicy spring rolls and prawn toast. Excellent sized portions and always lovely and hot.

Such good food!!! Although I kinda wish I'd known that the portions were massive in advance, me and my partner appear to have been left with the next week's meals already planned because we had a LOT of leftovers - not that I consider that a bad thing, of course. The food was lovely, still! Although the chips could have done with some more salt, I'll admit.

Exceptional food we really enjoyed every meal we ordered. The staff are polite and helpful.

Terrible food. Ordered salt and pepper chips and they were inedible because they were absolutely soaked and dripping in oil. A salt and pepper meal is supposed to be a dry dish. Clearly minimal care and effort had gone into the preparation of food. Really I should have gone back and complained but I had already come away. I will not be eating there again.

Used to love this place. Last visit was a disappointment but thought I'd give it another try. Wish I hadn't bothered. The special sweet and sour balls were disgusting it was like chewing old trainers. I wish I was joking. Nancy would be ashamed of that food. Binned it AGAIN.

Just spent £26 on a few dishes as the reviews here seemed good for the place but i am so disappointed. Food is bland, needed lots of salt to taste even slightly better. Greasy watery taste to the fried rice and chicken batter balls. The BBQ sauce taste like gravy, nothing remote BBQ about it at all. For the £26 total price got a bag of prawn crackers (if you can call it that) containing all of about 8 - 10 prawn crackers that looked stale. If only they did not shut as i got home i would have gone back for a refund. Will not be returning and think the reviews here are from people who have just come out the local pub and not sure what they are eating as it is disgusting. You know its bad when even the dog refuses to eat it.

Awesome Chinese. Touring at Abbey Farm Caravan Park and we all decided for a takeaway. The owners mentioned how good this place was so we thought we would give it a go . Probably the best Chinese we have ever had !!!! Little gem . Well done.
