Bar Aqua in Wigan

£33.50 for a burnt burger, chewy onion rings and surf and turf burger.The surf and turk steak was a good size but only had 3 prawns and was smothered in sauce that sogged all the bread.Chips were good.Food was hot35 min late

As always we enjoyed a lovely family and freinds event the food was plentiful , delicious and served hot the staff were freindly and helpful look foward to returning again

Seriously, disregard every negative thing you've read about this place. If they get a drink wrong or a slight wrong doing on an order then so be it, every restaurant has boo boos. But if you want quality, fresh and succulent food with great service then you'd be a dimebar to give this a miss. They're usually busy, that speaks for itself and you can wait a while for delivery but it's good, really good.

What a lovely place. Really friendly atmosphere and staff, and the food was excellent. Great selection of wines as well. I’ll be visiting there again if I’m ever passing through Wigan.

Been here before and has always been ok, but tonight was poor. Cold food and when I asked for this to be rectified, it came back marginally warmer but then drenched in ketchup which made it mainly inedible. They did knock part of the cost off but we won’t be visiting again, feel like it’s really gone downhill unfortunately after always being good food in the past ☹️

Very good restaurant in the town centre, don't feel like you are in the town centre once inside it has a good atmosphere, staff are great.Will definitely go again.

Went here for a meal last night and got to say it was pretty disappointing. We were sent the wrong drinks, then had to ask again for drinks we had ordered and never turned up. I ordered a rare steak and it was totally cremated so had to be sent back, by the time it came out everyone else at the table had finished eating so had to eat on my own. I have heard really good things about this place and it may have just been a bad night but we were all really disappointed. Not sure we will be going back any time soon.

I really need to stop and take pictures of both the delivery service and the in-house quality of the meals served here! Next time I promise I will stop locking my lips and pause my greedy stomach to do so.Words can't describe this place, and to say we 'stumbled upon it' because of its window decorations is embarrassing. The staff and owners go above and beyond to make sure you are seated and feel welcome, even when we tipped up stupidly thinking it would be quiet on a Saturday at half 4.The cocktails are to die for, but more importantly the food is out of this world! I'd highly recommend the chicken missouri! Whatever magic the chef marinates that chicken in needs patenting and selling to Harry Potter. Whilst all the menu does leave you feeling satisfied I promise after tasting this dish you'll be wanting to order to mains just to not miss out on the taste bud delight that awaits!!For delivery you need to order a Sunday roast. I don't know how they manage this but every time it's perfectly cooked and at the perfect temperature. It's beautifully delivered, and if anyone is like me who wants to pour their gravy over the food as and when they like and doesn't appreciate sogginess being the main feature of a meal. Then the Sunday dinner delivery will be perfect for you.Myself and the other half still argue over which is better the chicken or beef dinner, to date and around 20 dinners later its still up for grabs. They are both delicious and contain perfect cuts of meat.Can't praise this beautiful little restaurant enough. And with the prices you can't go wrong trying this place- trust me just from the service alone you'll be wanting to come back for more and more.

Had heard very good things about Pat and Dad before I went and they were all justified. Absolutely lovely food, and very reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly and efficient, and the COVID measures very reassuring and I felt safe. Highly, highly recommended.
