Very clean, nice and cool in the hot weather. Food was excellent. Cheeseburger with skin on chips was fantastic. Even toasted the bun. Prices very reasonable. 2 meals for 9 quid midweek afternoons. Chilean merlot was gorgeous. Impressed.

Kids play area great and staff inside that itself lovely ladies. However manager rude and horrible attitude and another member of staffs excuse was she took it out on you because it was busy. Charged 47.50 twice instead of once for food . When I lcikednup a fuss offered refund once and not to Cook the food 24 hour later still no return and the food was awful wouldn't visit again she needs a course in customer service I'm sure if she was charged that twice she would want it back this was yesterday 4pm wigan branch . I achually had nomore money till Monday either and had go cancel a day out today because of this.

Seriously, to those who have visited before, what isn't to love?We visited on a Tuesday evening. My friend remembers a time when BF used to do things like "curry night" or "burger night" etc and food would be on offer. As we visited past 6pm all special offers had ended, but it's post covid so I guess companies need to make their profits back to keep investors happy.Well, this is the venue for investors and customers to be kept happy.I won't lie, I used to visit this venue when it was (same owners) under the "TayBarns" brand, it was an all you could eat buffet with very good prices considering they made all the food fresh Infront of you. I don't know why they closed that brand, but, they did.As it is, this Brewers Fayre venue is ideal for the family. There's an indoor kids play area (closed when we visited) and they seem to do a breakfast buffet. The lunch menu seems reasonably priced and kind of what you would expect from a sort of Gordon Ramsey restaurant on hell's kitchen where he says "keep the menu small, but do what you do, well".When it comes to the evening menu there's plenty to choose from. Let me say, my friend ordered the mixed grill and I got the double stack burger... Both meals were absolutely perfect. The staff were also very attentive to us and couldn't have been more helpful.I am hard to please, but honestly this place impressed me and I'll be back again. Well done to all the staff working here, your efforts are noted!

So my car broke down half a mile from here and I managed to limp it to the car park. Not a bad place to be stuck waiting for a recovery vehicle! The unlimited refills on a diet coke were most welcome and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Moderately busy, service seemed to be good and the diners were enjoying themselves.

Good selection on the menu, friendly service, not rushed and reasonable price. Didn't have to wait long for food, which was hot and tasty.

We brought the kids as there is an indoor play area and the kids loved it. Reason for 3 stars and not more is just due to a few things.1 - kids have a time limit they are allowed to play for, but when they are sat eating there meal (which can take a bit of time because they are kids) that time comes off their play time. So they lose a significant amount of time to play and it isn't free to play either, you have too pay.2 - if you want a refillable soft drink but are sat in the play area room, you have to keep leaving to go into the main restaurant for your drinks. This isn't a huge deal to be honest, but if you are there with your child and no other adult, you either have to leave your child alone whilst doing this or get them out the play area (which kids really don't want to do lol)3 - the kids menu is OK but not great. Not that much choice. Price isn't too bad though.4 - adult menu is good, quite a bit of choice. However, a plate of chips to share is definitely not a sharers plate.5 - car park isn't huge. So you can struggle for a spot.Apart from all this, service is fairly quick and food isn't too bad. Staff were friendly and the kids love it

Just had a fantastic all you can eat breakfast, which is unlimited and very tasty. You get taken to a table to look at a menu, waitress comes to your orders of what you want then rest is get as much as you can, starts from 07:00 till 10:30

Good food. Worth it if you have discount vouchers. Restaurant decor a bit tired. Service no frills but friendly enough.

A friendly face, good service and above all, good food is all one can ask for. Thank you Nicola for making me feel welcome. In my line of work, I stay at The Premier Inn's across The UK. Attached to them are restaurants where you can dine before or after a long day of business. Brewers Fayre in Wigan is my most recent visit. My favourite main meal is a rump steak, prepared 'blue'. I am very particular about how this is prepared and in all my travels, Wheatlea Park Brewers Fayre have been the only restaurant that has achieved this to perfection. Perfectly prepared and full of flavour. Thank you very much. I will be staying all week, please continue your good service......4 days later and it's my last night here. Thank you Kate for being so attentive in the restaurant. Also please pass my thanks on to the Chef. My steak was just right every night. I hope to see you all when I'm working near here again soon.

Cheap and cheerful weekday lunch out - we called here as I was aware they had a play area for our little one but unfortunately that was closed (they mentioned it has just been assembled so not sure if they have had it down for something or whether they have had it replaced etc.)... food was ok, nothing special but was good value for money. Weekday special 2 mains for £8.99. Kids meal £3.99. Cheap and cheerful.
