An excellent meal to celebrate mums 90th. Howard and his staff were so attentive & looked after each and everyone of us so well. Champagne to toast the Birthday girl and nothing too much trouble. A great afternoon, mum loved every minute and the food was spot on. Thanks so much Howard for looking after us all so well & a shout out to the girls who served & the kitchen staff and chef, an absolute credit to you & your great restaurant. As you said to mum hope to see you back there for her 100th!

Greeted with a smile and a welcome a little early but still accomodated us the food was delicious and the drinks flowing, staff friendly and couldn't do more I will definitely be returning here 😁👍 plus the price was very reasonable for what we had 👍👍👍👍

My favourite restaurant in the area. Food is always of a high quality, freshly cooked to order, and with friendly staff. The prices are reasonable and the only negative is that they've not changed their main menu for some time. However, they do some special selections for each course.

Just enjoyed a beautiful meal at Gallimores a hidden delight in Wigan , i had the lamb shank with herb potatoes ,veggies and gravy ,absolutely delicious friend had Lamb chops with fries and salad asked for well done ,it wasn't as well done as she wanted but still enjoyable that was followed by passion fruit cake with ice cream and a fudge cake with cream , staff very polite and friendly and not in your face , we had 2 lattes which were lovely and 1 sparkling water and 1 Tia Maria special coffee which friend said was beautiful , reasonably priced too , will def be going again

Not that fine. Service was slow. Chips are not listed as a side order on the menu so shouldn't be treated that way & definitely shouldn't arrive 20mins after the rest of your food so everything is going cold before they arrive. Same with the dianne sauce, should be served with the food!Also no need to season every steak so it tastes like a flame-grilled T-Bone, if I wanted T-bone I would of ordered that. I ordered rib-eye, asked for medium rare. Was cooked ok on the inside but the outside was vertually black & tasted disgusting! Clean the griddle!And please stop serving your cheap flavourless Ice Cream in mini hot-pot ceramics!
