Chippy Bar in Wigan

Staff are nice and friendly. Portions are a good size and well worth the money. Chips are 'real' and tasted great!The gravy, however was like tar 😕 it didn't taste of much and was far too thick and powdery.

Awesome food, especially the lunchtime special of salt and pepper chicken and chips.

Love this chippy, value for money and really tasty food. Some of the 'lunchtime specials' sound very appetising and also seem to be very good value. The 2 young ladies serving were friendly and chatty, very customer focused. I Highly recommend

Good food and reasonably priced, the lunchtime specials are very good value 👍 never ordered for delivery so can't comment but parking is tricky when it's busy

I am really happy with this Chippy. This Chippy is not just a Chippy but also does amazing tasty Chinese. I really like the fact that this Chippy takes card and not only taking card but there is no amount that you have to spend. Also it has marvellous opening time table it is open till late at night throughout the week and overall this Chippy is the best Chippy I have been too. Really tasty food and great customer service. The staff was very hard working too. Thank you so much I recommend everyone to try it

I wouldn't recommend this place,. to anyone,. food is heated up and small. Potion's, also bad customer service.

I recently bought fish & chips from here for the first time. The batter was soggy instead of crispy & fresh & as I lifted it up the fish inside was yellow & smelled awful of a urine smell. I rang the shop to explain first to let them know to check their stock but was told there was nothing wrong with the fish as she had sold them all day! Instead of an apology & any thanks for letting them know I was told to take it back to prove it...so I did! I realised afterwards they only have 1 star in health & hygiene & now know why.

Thanks for cancelling my order that I placed at 4:15pm and letting me know an hour later, my husband really enjoyed his take away, that did arrive. whilst I didn’t have any tea, as deliveries from that time where over 3-4 hours! And no food shop done hence a take away, I appreciate how busy everyone must be, but it was a very small order for one person. So cheers 👍🏻

This review is partly based on what my family tells me as I personally dont eat chips ...that said I have been and ordered and collected meals for them and it does get busy always a queue but staff are friendly food is reasonably priced.Family say food is good and portions are sufficient .Parking is on road and it can get congested .
