Nice pub and friendly staff.

·

Lively pub full of young people but very few comforable seats.Good selection of beer and larger but staff need training in pouring cask ales!

·

Great place, cheap, amazing atmosphere. Cant give 5 stars as the obnoxnious guy in the checkered shirt kept reminding us to leave at 20 to 1 when theyre infact open till 2. Easy night lads?

Been recommended this place since moving to Standish. The bar was great, its a decent size with a great little patio area. Had a brilliant time in all but can't give 5 stars because the food was terrible. Everything else was excellent, but I was so disappointed! The pizzas are tiny and burnt. Not just ours, everyone else's that I saw was burnt round the edges. And the salt and pepper fries were awful. They were just deep fried to within an inch of their life so much so they had no potato left inside and left a horrible greasy taste in your mouth. I'd go back, as like I said, the atmosphere, staff and everything else was great but I'll definitely not eat here again.

Really like this place and the selection of beers, but during this table service only period, they need to re-evaluate how they go about that.Either not enough staff to serve outside, or the staff are not doing the rounds enough.Staff kept going to nearest tables for their orders every time, then off to the bar to get them, leaving others frustrated.Other, and even older pubs have an ordering and paying app which leaves the staff to just deliver the food and drinks to the table number in order of order placement.

Lovely sharing platter and gin in the sunshine. Great menu and drinks in the relaxed garden area. Service was excellent, very attentive. Will be back, thankyou!
