Frederick's at the Pavillion in Wigan

Local and friendly staff. Rearrangement of tables and chairs better but could seat more downstairs. Coffee reasonable but depends who makes!! Great choice of ice cream flavours.

Alright looking place situated in a beautiful building, that serves coffee, cakes or ice cream. Seating is available inside or outside.Dogs are also allowed inside.The coffees we got were really good, unfortunately the cakes not so much. They were very dry and crumbly.BTW if you want to use the toilet, make sure to ask the staff for the code, as the doors are locked.

Nice food , didn't think some staff dressed appropriately, a small apron over what could only be classed as Gymwear , whilst texting on a phone 🤔. Maybe a little light re-fresher and some re-training . But the Vegan Chocolate cake was delightful.

Lovely cafe and always food service even when they're super busy. Large selection of ice creams including vegan options, and then also have a vegan toastie too. Perfect for a simple bite to eat.

The actual cafe is nice and clean, spacious (covid restrictions) with places to sit inside and outside.The Frederick's ice cream was disappointing however. It was more like Mr.Whippy ! A soft dripping wet mess. Been wanting to go for ages but can say it will be my first and only time of doing so.

Coffee is good, but.... Pathetic looking tiny bowl of tepid soup, served with a mouldy barm! Kids ham sandwich served on two thick crusts! Many tables needing clearing. Staff appeared inexperienced and lacking customer service skills. Not sure we'll be back!

Very friendly staff, had bacon and sausage barm, it was very nice with a lot of tea, Fredric ice-cream is awesome. Lovely clean park for families and there dogs.
