Henrietta Street chippy in Wigan

Best place in Leigh. I saw a review about the chiken kebab being precooked ( total nonsense ) ,I am buying chicken kebab from here almost every week and it is cooked in front of me. Totally recommend. People should give honest reviews.

Please note, I dont live in the area just work and most of the time live out of a hotels.Lesson learnt, never order twice from one place, the first time i ordered it was average but good enough to order again. Ordered food today, wish I hadn't, chips were dark as if they were fried in old oil, fish was very very greasy as well as the battered burger, sausage was ok the only thing that I enjoyed, chicken kebab, was it pre-cooked and then heated up? was very hot, maybe chef Mike had some involvement don't know, you can see why I order so much for one person as most or in some cases it all gets thrown away, what a waste. Made my mind up.Hope the owner reads this and understands what a person goes through when staying away, its really depressing when you haven't eaten much and have to go out and buy a sandwich, enough said, off to morrinsons.

Absolutley vile. Chips were definetley not fresh, were rubbery and hard. Scallops were dry, hard and chewy. Curry sauce was tasteless. It ended up in the bin. Avoid at all costs

Lovely tea only grip wish they would of built the kebabs rather than giving u all the ingredients. Was really nice though.

Food was fast, fresh & tasty, decently priced too. Staff unfortunately weren't wearing masks or sanitising surfaces. Not covid safe

Under new management, & this is now the best chippy in Leigh. Chips like they should be, chunky tasty battered fish, great value for money.

Genuinely love this place, foods always hot and freshly cooked. Always tasty. The staff are awesome and friendly. Worth the drive!! Wouldn't go anywhere else for my weird cravings for fish, chip and curry barms 😂
