Indian spice in Wigan

The food is restaurant quality superb...absolutely delicious, can't fault it!! However I've noticed the prices have increased somewhat...although i know there are a lot of inflationary pressures. My biggest gripe though is the delivery time, which frequently exceeds 2 hours..and I know they're busy but Im not sure if that's acceptable.

I rarely write reviews but occasionally I find credit should be awarded to those who deserve it.I and my husband have had food from the Indian Spice on many occasions and I would now not have Indian food from anywhere else in Greater Manchester. The food is beautiful. The spices are fresh tasting and perfectly seasoned. The people are so welcoming and always attentive towards their customers. The restaurant is spotless and I cannot find any flaws in the whole place. I am very pleased to have found this place and I wish them well in their business.Miriam

We order food from this place ( most weeks) without disappointment. Last night was the best takeaway food we have ever tasted ( yes I know England won ) a wonderful meal.Thank you

The curry is very good but I find the the chicken very rubbery and dry (which is why I only give 3 stars) maybe the way it's precooked before ordering, I now get lamb which is fine

I can't speak highly enough of this place. Only moved into the area a few months ago and I'm relieved to have found an amazing Indian takeaway! I've looked forward to one every week during lockdown, tried a few different dishes and not had a bad meal yet. Fantastic.

I object to paying in excess of £8.00 for a meal and get four or five tiny pieces of meat.Added to that the lamb was incredibly dry and tough. Was awful and not worth the money we paid...

Not very often we order takeaway but when we order from here for delivery it always takes way too long for delivery. Currently waiting over 2 hours and this isn't the first time! Food is good but they really need to do something about the wait time.**Edit ordered at 18:15, food arrived at 20:45.

The mark of a good curry house for me is consistency and this place has that. I know that I am guaranteed a gorgeous meal whatever dish I choose. The North Indian Garlic dish is a particular highlight. The naan breads are amazing and starters such as Chicken Pakora, Onion Bajii, samosa and chicken chat are all very good and not greasy. They can deliver and are available on Just Eat too but we often collect to make it quicker

Good Indian food at reasonable prices. Authentic taste of India.
