Juniper Bar & Kitchen in Wigan

What a lovely place to eat. I've been to Junipers for lunch twice in the past week and found the food on both occasions to be excellent. The starter of goats cheese and beetroot salad was one of the nicest starters I've eaten in a long time. The minute steak with a lovely fresh tasting sauce was also delicious as was the lemon pavlova for dessert.The staff are friendly and attentive and the venue is ideal for enjoying lunch or dinner and I would definitely recommend this resturant

We've been 4 or 5 times and the menu changes regularly and is always interesting. Food is of a very high quality and service is good. Highly recommended

Firstly the greeting. The staff are genuinely friendly and knowledgeable about the food and drinks on offer. They are a credit to Juniper Restaurant.Next, the building is a converted cottage but you don’t feel like the tables are sat on top of one another.Best of all though is the food. We treated ourselves to the Chateaubriand for 2 and OMG it was melt in your mouth. You could cut the meat with a butter knife and was so so tasty. (Sorry Bruno but there were no scraps to bring home for you).No matter how full you feel, don’t leave without trying a sweet. They are all delicious. The chef and owner Chris really takes pride in his restaurant and it shows.We are so lucky to have this restaurant on our doorstep.Sorry no photos, we were too busy eating😋😋😋😋😋

Went with family for my birthday. It was a Tuesday so quiet but that didn’t effect anything the food was delicious and the service excellent. Will definitely return. Thank you.

Went to Juniper last night with family, the starter's and mains were excellent, didn't try a dessert due to being too full. The choice of wine was very good. Staff were attentive and made for a great dining experience, highly recommended.

Our first time and on our doorstep, in our lovely village of Shevington. Excellent Sunday lunch. The Wagyu beef was so tender, great choice on Sunday menu and very helpful staff. Will definitely be visiting more often
