Kitchen 101 in Wigan

nicely placed cafe, good decor, has some nice leather sofas in there if you wanna be more relaxed. make a good hot chocolate too. their menu is a bit funny though, vegan cheese burger that seemingly is just a lettuce barm as it has no burger or cheese in it and a vegan hot dog that by the sounds of it is a baguette with onions in it. and then they seemingly made the fudge cake vegan somehow too, not entirely sure how thats done lol suppose the food menu is ok if your a bit strange, but anyone else id just stick to drinks and then gorge on as much meat elsewhere as possible to make up for the vegans lol

We always go to this cafe it's great , food brilliant , the coffee is best I've had too .. lovely atmosphere too

It was lunch time - it was quite busy. Greeted at door and to table. Fast and friendly service. Good food. Good prices. No complaints. This place is a great town centre cafe

really great food, come here with the Mrs fairly often I feel bad for the staff because the card machine barely connects to the internet haha

Popped in for some lunch and was pleased to see more than one vegan option on the menu - thank you! Only 4 stars as the 'fish' finger sandwich could've done with another couple of fingers in it for more filling. But otherwise everything else was great. Staff very friendly and service was quick.

Been for the first time with my girlfriend and step daughter, really good food and friendly staff, would recommend!

After long wait for our food our meals had been given to the Next table who had already stated to eat them despite not being what they ordered. The staff then brought the right meals out to them and then tried to give me the meal that one of them had already made a start at eating. Utterly disgusted with this like I'm going even touch that after someone has been picking at it unbelievable.

Had a lovely cup of coffee there. So nice to see the independents surviving in these difficult times. (Since the tax avoidance fiasco I will not step through the door of certain large coffee shop company doors).

Called in for brunch after doing errands in Wigan , had to leave details at door , sanitizers on hand , staff very pleasant and courteous, we were sat well distanced from other customers , ordered 3 breakfasts on toast which came piping hot , ordered 2 teas and 1 latte , again piping hot each with a biscuit on side , asked re gluten free options , not doing at moment but hope to in near future , payment either cash or card quite happy with cash , also given free sample of new cake they are hoping to try out for customers too

What a great little place. The staff are all lovely and friendly. The food is great and the atmosphere is lovely too.There's a bit where kids can play if you need that.It's not too pricey at all and the food is absolutely delicious. There's a really great menu too. We just had sandwiches, a club and a fish finger butty. This was all great. Can't wait to come back and try other stuff.Will definitely be coming again. Thank you so much. Really enjoyed it.
