Lovely little pub. £20 for a bottle of wine and a pizza and a pasta dish, what more can one ask for.

Yesterday we had my baby shower at the venue. This is the second party I have had as the staff are great and the atmosphere is lovely.I was so so so disappointed with the buffet (if you can call it that) that was provided for the grand total of £110!!!2 bowls of out the packet salad, 1 tray of half sausage rolls and half pork pies, 1 tray of quiche (I don’t even think a full one was provided), 1 tray of stale as anything bruschetta and two trays of sandwiches. Only TWO of the party needed gluten free and we asked for a small selection of the sandwiches to be GF but no they all came out GF. As we all know GF bread is not great.It was eaten, 1 because of the amount my husband paid for it and 2 there was nothing else we could do on the day.Totally disgusted with little 15 and will not be returning for any functions.

Very nice food, atmosphere. But for a lunch time meal, music was very loud also over an hour wait for food. Short staffed, girls did their best to cope but were rushed.

Characterful bar, a little more upmarket than its "sister" The Raven. It's a big place, with an extension / function room to the rear. The kitchen is on display, and the food is a little more wide ranging (although nothing vegan, and little vegetarian) good selection of beers and wines, and this place is very popular!
