Mcdonalds Restaurants in Wigan

This restaurant is always clean and tidy . I order through the mac donalds app which is great and u get a great service . Great value for money on offered through app. The app is easy to use and u get your order sooner . The food is lovely. The staff are very helpful and friendly

Every time we come here they get some of the order wrong. Asked twice for sauces and they appeared on the order screen. Asked again when pulling up to get the food from the window. The guy asked us to wait in the parking bay. Food was brought over. No sauces given. Got home and realised this. Meal ruined!

Order took longer than usual, the tanoy didn't work on one side (no signs to notify customers of techincal issue or cones to redirect to the working one). Food was good.

Always been pleasant treated here by staff on every visit. Usual McD experience. Only issue is that there are often a lot of people as you enter because there seem to be a lot of delivery guys there all the time hanging about waiting for orders. As we don't like crowds these days this can be a little off-putting :-(

Waited 10 mins at the order booth whilst other cars placed orders and left. Decided to order at the window and was told I should have continued to wait as staff have other priorities so are not able to take orders in a timely manner. Don't understand why the lane was not shut if the order lane was not working, and what other priorities you would have if not taking orders. Will not be using this branch again due to attitude towards customers

Just spent 35 minutes in the drive-thru queue. Got to the speaker to be told ‘card machine not working do you have cash?’. So I suggested why are you not telling people at the entrance? Not everyone has cash. Asked for the manager. The employee came back to say ‘oh its contactless that isn’t working you can put your PIN number in’. No good when you only have your phone with you to pay. So she was giving incorrect information too.Needless to say there’ll be lots of disgruntled customers tonight. Once you’re in that queue you’re stuck! Very poor customer service.

Nipped down, while waiting for my daughter & Grandson in Wigan hospital. Drive through was busy, even at gone midnight. I got a couple of plain cheese burgers - a special order due to allergies. I got my order and drove back up to the hospital. The burgers were stone cold, cheese still hard so I don't think they'd ever been hot/warm enough to melt the cheese! I ended up putting them on my dashboard with the blowers on hot, to make them edible!

Well if time is precious you will certainly waste most of it by using the drive through, certainly not in a rush to deal with orders and its not just a one off been plenty of times and always seems to be the same story, the food well its McDonald's dont need to say anymore.

The ordering area is far too small. Also it took 20 mins from ordering the food to actually getting my food and when I got the food home the bread on the big mac was mouldy!! I have not given 1 star as the manager who dealt with me when I returned the food was very apologetic and helpful. She refunded the full order and also gave me a code for 2 free meals next time I return. In general the speed of service at all McDonald's is considerably lacking since the introduction of home delivery as they obviously prioritise these orders prior to customers ordering in store. I feel that the staff lack a sense of urgency when the "restaurant" is busy.

Just here now, used the drive through. Since when do Mcdonalds no longer offer a medium cheeseburger meal...never mind they do recommend a double quarter pounder with cheese. Just fail to mention how much the price difference would be until its too late. Im in the are Monday next week but not coming here again. Took multiple attempts to get them to understand and hear the word cappuccino.
