Mrs Lyon's Tea Room in Wigan

Vialleta in Standish thank you!Went for breakfast on a Sunday at 9am. Lovely welcome. Had the shadshooka absolutely wonderful.

Mrs Lyon’s made us a delicious white chocolate and raspberry cake for our little boy’s christening. Really tasty and beautifully decorated.

Mrs Lyons Tea Room made our wonderful wedding cake. Due to the pandemic our original cake maker was no longer available for our wedding, but we are so glad we found Mrs Lyons. Vickie and Elaine were fantastic throughout, the cake was superb, and nothing was too much trouble. The price was great too for such a brilliant cake.The chocolate cake was our favourite, but there wasn't much left of any of it as it was devoured! We will definitely be heading back for our anniversary!

Just had a beautiful birthday cake delivered for my daughter's birthday.. It was gorgeous we all enjoyed it. Wonderful flavour and very fresh.

This place is really lovely, as soon as you walk in you feel the nice relaxing atmosphere and I love the decor! The food is nice as well (especially the lemon cheesecake 😋) I would highly recommend anyone to go there for afternoon tea.

A pleasant afternoon out and everything you would expect when you think of tea rooms, floral prints, tablecloths, cups and saucers.The staff were very friendly and helpful with making a choice from the menu.The sandwich I ordered was delicious, kid not so impressed with bubble tea don't let that put you off.Good for a treat welcoming and relaxed place.

Great gluten-free breakfast in a lovely setting, with good service. Great choice of breakfasts and teas.We will definitely be back for a treat breakfast, and perhaps for afternoon tea - the cakes look incredible!

My mother recently moved to Standish the other month and I spotted this tea room immediately whilest driving through the town, as a tea lover I knew I had to try it. Today I came here for the first time and will most definitely be returning, such a stunning little tea room with several tables all well decorated and well furnished, the selection of teas is enough to make me come back alone. The food menu is brilliant and has a lot to choose from including many afternoon tea packages all priced very affordably. The yorkshire tea, bubble tea and food ordered were all made to perfection, the adorable little china cups and teapots the drinks were served in made it even more homely and the service was very friendly and prompt. Its exactly the kind of tea shop I would love to open myself. I think I could live here.
