Pemberton Balti House in Wigan

Orderd from here a few times, the poppadoms are always soggy, onion bajis are dripping in fat. Vindaloo is okay, massala is watery and tates of to much coconut. Delivery is fast but not surprising if the food is not freshly made but left under a light to keep warm all weekend. We will use another takeaway, only used these as our original one was closed in Tuesdays.

Always excellent food but very pricey, definitely very tasty food

Ate here for over 4 years on a regular basis- rang up tonight for my usual order, the guy on the phone was rude and after making my main order I asked could I have my free starter that I was promised the week before due to the onion bajhis I received being rock hard and cold and although I finally got my money back after over 2 hours they assured me I would be compensated for the inconvenience and due to me being a regular customer. However this didn’t happen and the guy on the phone didn’t seem to care about it so the whole order was cancelled and I will no longer be ordering from this restaurant as I’m clearly not a valued customer despite me and my family spending hundreds of pounds a month here. Congratulations on losing out on alot of regular custom due to one promised small compensation starter, having a short term memory and a rude phone operator 👋

Everytime you order from here there is always something missing from your order. They say they will send it, but by tge time it comes the rest of the food is cold. Customer service by staff is appalling and you just get fobbed off. Tonight's onion bhaji were like rocks and seekh kebab was cold as. Would not recommend and will not be using again. The only reason it has got 1 star is because I can't give it any less.

We started getting from here as we use the food hub app, lovely Indian food best I've had in a while.My usual place I got bored with it as most of the dishes tasted the same, no matter what I ordered and it was saltyFrom here I've enjoyed every meal we ordered.We ordered about 3 weeks ago through the app and then 10 minutes later the order got rejected stating we lived to far away 😭 I live on shevington moor. Omg I was in such a bad mood I ended up not having any tea because I was so looking forward to having something from you.Yet even now you still come up on the app as being able to order. So now Indian food takeaway is no more

I ordered from here tonight it was £20+, food was cold on delivery, trying to ring um but not answering, I'm very disappointed and will try to ring again Tomorrow as its not nice only thing nice was the poppadoms, rest went in bin as im not microwaving a so called fresh meal, not order from here again, gonna give it a wide birth even though this place was recommended....

Got a North Indian chilli lamb tikka balti.... Very hot and absolutely amazing! Best curry I've had in ages. Masala poppadoms awesome too. Recommended. 👍🏻

Absolutely delicious, very tasty, hot and always delivered on time, would not order an Indian take away from anywhere else, compliments to the chef.
