Pemberton Fish Bar in Wigan

Good Chippy,I like to go around and find the best chippys and this was at no 1 on a post I read for wigan however was a little disappointed when I took my first few bites and was good but not the best in wigan. i’d put it up there with gidlows place but not as good as trawler-man and pepper lane. (Just my opinion tbf)the staff were friendly and the price was a lil high but not bad.all in all it’s a good chippy i’ve had much worse but just not greatIf you want a brilliant chippy and really love your fish and chips Matts plaice in Manchester is the best chippy I’ve had in the last couple years.

Pemb fish bar reached out to us after seeing my partners family had fled the war in Ukraine.They provided us with 5 meals of our choice and made us feel extremely welcome.Pndreas & Anastasia are very humble people who did such a kind gesture when they didn't to. It meant a lot to us.As for the food, it was THE best fish & chips I've had! It was actually my first time eating there, but it definitely won't be the last! Everyone demolished their food, although I was the only one to eat all my food in 1 sitting everyone else finished theirs the next day.As well as providing food they are also taking Artem to his first ever football game on the weekend where he'll be watching Wigan smash Bolton!Thank you Pemb Fish Bar for your kindness and doing your part for the Ukrainian refugees.

Favourite fish & chip shop great chips & good value.

I was in the area, so I googled where to go for the best fish & chips and Pemberton Fish Bar came up so I decided to try them out and they did not disappoint! Fresh fish with the perfect batter and delicious chippy chips. I highly recommend them and can’t wait to go back :)

first time trying the gyros after winning two in a competition, will say these where really nice. the chicken was tasty and soft, the chips with the spice on was good. I will be back again 👍
