First visit and very impressed. A new favourite place to go. Everything was spot on from the beautiful meal to the friendly staff and the restaurant itself. Cannot wait for our next visit.

We were a table of 6. The waiting on staff were very friendly and helpful. The owner/chef Jayne, came out to speak with us to check that we had enjoyed the food. Lovely place and we will definitely go back. From another Jayne with a Y.

Brilliant restaurant food is of a top class restaurant standard. I had the carrot and corriander soup and I asked if they did garlic bread but I received the soup with delcious garlic bread followed by the lamb shank with mash. It was all delicious. My friends had the beef and the steak and said it was also delicious! The drinks are really reasonable. The chef/owner? even came out to check we were happy. All the staff were efficient and pleasant. Looking forward to going again.pleasant. Looking fkrward to goinf again.

What a wonderful eatery, a little gem hidden away down an alley by Wigan Town Hall.Food of a high standard, perfectly presented, a joy on your palate. Staff helpful and friendly and prices are very fair considering the quality of food.So glad to have experienced the cuisine and if I ever get the chance I will return.

Went in after we found the place, a little hidden away but worth the effort. It was after one o clock and nobody was in except staff, this is usually a bit worrying, but proved not to be the case here.We were seated quickly and a drinks order taken, given a menu and a specials board also fetched over. We didn't know what to choose as even though it wasn't a massive menu, it all sounded good. Not decrying the shorter menu at all, this is a sign they want to do a small amount of things well and this really is the case.We had a Christmas dinner and a beef bourguignon, both excellent, the veg was just right and so tasty, everything was delicious. The wine I had with this was a house tempranillo, went well with the beef, it was a very pleasant wine, wish I knew where to get some as there are so few reds I enjoyDessert was also fantastic salted caramel profiteroles, could have eaten them again, and again, a Christmas pudding that was excellent too.A brilliant find, great staff, excellent food and a good wine list, will be back and also recommend to friends
