Red Robin in Wigan

We found this place lovely. We felt comfortable and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The food was very nice. And we didn't have to wait ages ,although it was busy. We would definitely visit again when we come back to visit friends

We visited this carvery whilst visiting friends. The service was excellent and the food came out without delays. We found the staff very welcoming and the seating was clean and comfortable. On our next visit to friends we will definitely be coming back

First visit since lock down started and I have to say I was very disappointed. I ordered the buttermilk chicken burger which wasn't even what it said, it was more of a southern fried piece of chicken on a stale bun. The fries was okay. My partner had the carvery which he didn't enjoy one bit. I had to ask for the coke drinks to be chanced twice as at £3.15 a glass the least you should expect is it to be fizzy but nope flat as a pancake. My 5 year old had the large kids nugget meal and the nuggets were very overcooked and very crunchy. Over all we had spent over. £60 pounds and we are very disappointed. They also have meals on their menu that aren't even available any more. I think I'll stick with either the Mount or the Primrose

Staff amazing very attentive. Food was a good portion size and great price. Inside was very spacious if u want a table away from others. Will definately be back

Good food at carvery huge selection of meat and vegetables. Comfortable chairs and th staff where very polite and helpful, plus, plus it was very good value for money.I will definitely be going again 😌

Came tonight with my boyfriend. Absolutely disgusting. Flies all around the restaurant, landing on mine and fellow diners FOOD. As soon as it touched mine, we left the restaurant. Will never be returning. The cutlery was also filthy on not just my table but neighbouring tables too. It's January and there are flies swarming around the place. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

Visited as a 4. Everything is ordered at the bar. Reasonable prices and food was good. Didn't wait too long for food to be sent out. With having a children's play area there where lots of children down one side so we opted to sit at the other end which was quieter. There did seem to be quite alot of sticky tables, menus where also sticky and no hand sanitizer on offer at entrances which is my only reason for 4 stars and not 5.

Haven't been here for quite a while as food was awful. Decided to give it another go today. We had the carvery. The turkey wasn't cooked properly. You could've stoned someone to death with the sprouts and carrots. The boiled potatoes weren't cooked properly, same with the broccoli. Everything lacked seasoning. We sat at a table that had chairs as well as bench seating. The chairs were ok, the bench was absolutely filthy although the flies seemed to like it. Perhaps you should give some though to employing someone with the concept of time and its application to the culinary arts, alternatively known as cooking things correctly. I will not be contacting you because it seems a consistent comprehension of the content of past reviews is beyond you. I won't waste my time and we will not be back!

The staff are lovely, no issues with them. I have had the worst food poisoning I have ever experienced this week from eating here. This was the only meal I had at the start of the week and have been ill ever since. There are flies everywhere which also puts you off and the food was atrocious. Do not eat here.

If you don't want to spend loads on your dinner, come here. Staff are super friendly, and serve up the usual pub grub. Portion sizes are quite big too. Not a la carte, but perfect for young families as there is a wacky warehouse on the side.
