Very pleasant visit. Had all I wanted and a few good offers on too, especially the bulk buys

I really like Sainsburys, their prices are being matched to Aldi. Most of the staff are lovely bar one women with Silver white shoulder length hair with an Eastern European accent. She is the most abrupt, rudest person in a customer service role I've come across. Avoid her if you can. Apart from that all the other staff are so helpful and friendly . The shop sells a good range of food and the quality of their food is always excellent.

Pity about the cafe closure we normal had coffee and toast in the morning before shopping. Maybe its was to big for the amount of foot traffic but we go to tesco now.

Medium sized supermarket located just out of Wigan town centre. Toilets, large carpark, petrol station. McDonalds and B&M's next door. Its only downfall is that the specialised counters weren't very good. Disappointed that there wasn't a fresh fish counter.

Never too busy but they’re not great at keeping the shelves well stocked so go early if you can!

Food lovely but don't go at the weekend unless you want a 45 minute wait. Went yesterday lunchtime. Just crazy. The queue for the drive in was at a stand still at times. At one point it didn't move for 10 minutes. Then I was asked to park up after paying and wait. Probably to keep the queue moving. The problem with this was there was no where to park. I was lucky as someone was just coming out of a space. Others weren't and ended up either blocking parked cars or stopping in spots were a lot of maneuvering was needed for those parked to get out. Horns being blasted. Never again at the weekend. A McDonald's is a lovely treat but not worth this stress. From entering the queue to leaving with food 45 minutes.

The restaurant is very nice, friendly staff, clean, bright and with rather a good view.I've dropped a point as no cooked food is available, that's a shame as this place is lovely and they're quing round the block at McDonalds opposite for the breakfast that Sainsbury's doesn't yet sell.
