Sainsburys Cafe in Wigan

Visited today after not visiting since before the first lockdown. Looks like the set up has changed as there is no longer a menu of full meals. Having said that, if you want a coffee shop experience, the cheese & ham toastie, scone and coffee I had were decent.

Absolutely livid! Regular Sainsbury's shopper & b4 March lockdown reg cafe visitors. 1st time cafe visitors since & checked open, times & on doing covid measures msg popped up & read it. Very thorough. Shame it doesn't mention anywhere a reduced menu which for breakfast which is basically toast only. Feel like, having checked open info, u have had me visit under false pretences. Disgusting how a basic but extremely important service information has been ignored or possibly purposely admitted for profit.

Every time I have been the service is very very slow, sometimes you are stood waiting for someone to serve you. It took over 10 minutes for meTo get my drink. Staff need to speed up service and more help is needed

We ordered the christmas dinner and got about half if what was advertised, cold and tasteless. The staff are quite dismissive and service was slow. Won't be going there again.

Service was horrendous, waited ages in the queue, only to be told they didnt have what I wanted, had no smile or good service, only 1 person doing the drinks and ordering, and then a women cleaning the tables asks for her to make a coffee for a customer, why not just make it yourself!!!

Nothing really fancy just honest hearty food just the thing to start you of before all that shopping

Waited 20 mins for a toasted teacake...burnt when came. Usually enjoy Sainsburys Cafe food, never been to this branch before but dunno if this was an off day for them. Serving/ cashier were very pleasant.

Never know when it's going to be open, seems to be a lot of problems
