Seven Seas Fish and Chip Restaurant in Wigan

First time going here but must say food is very tasty, a little expensive but I don’t mind as long as the food is good.You can taste in the food quality that it’s cooked fresh using quality food, it’s served with a smile and welcoming staff on the counter.Will be retuning here.

Avoid it!Got chips and curry sauce and found a hair in my chips! which presents a huge health hazard, the second issue is I watched the guy serving me go from handling cash to handling food without any hand washing, and they also store there chips outside in a bucket sometimes in the heat which leaves a potential risk to bacteria forming on the chips, staff aren’t all that friendly either

Taste and looked like fried oven chips wont be coming back here again

Sat in a few weeks ago. Food lovely was a hair on it. But didn't complain. Been again today with my friend. Hair on her plate too! I seen it so did the waitress. Owner came over with the plate minus the fish and hair took off the chips. Asking where the hair was!!!! Was quite rude. So she didn't get a replacement. Said sorry when I paid. Assume realised waitress must of removed hair before he looked. Too little too late. Shame as looks clean and food really nice.

The owner is obnoxious, doesn't pay for training shifts and over does the training shift hours. Treats his staff like dirt and says that 'you need to improve a lot' when you're trying your best for the first job you have ever had whilst you're still in school. Would've given it a zero but I had to give a 1 star.

absolutely disgusting food. EXTREMELY poor hygiene insects under the tables. Not to mention the staff are underpaid, overworked and verbally abused by other colleges and managers. Save your money and go someone else this place should be shut down it’s terrible

very good quality chippy, clean professional, almost like it isnt a traditional chippy as youd expect traditional chippys to be grubby and unprofessional, this one is like a a bigger franchise chippy, very professional and good quality. even has ability to sit in with restaurant added.

I ordered 2 portions of chips and fish and I found a toenail in my fish and several hairs in my both portions of chips. I walked in and heard the owner scream at his coworkers multiple timesAbsolutely disgusting way to treat people on your payroll disgusting behaviour

First ever visit and I really enjoyed it. Food really good and restaurant clean and tidy.

I stayed in for a meal last night and I found the Chicken I had had been over cooked because it was dry and the chips and peas were not hot enough and the smaller chips were hard and painful in my mouth. Not as good as I have eaten there before!!
