Booked for me by my work. I always give 5stars.Where to start? Definitely not a 5 star stay, 3 if being generous. Room number 101 was a decent size but woefully unclean. All areas that need more than a superficiall wipe were very dusty. Particularly the little tray that holds the kettle, tea and coffee. The bathroom tiling was in need of re-grouting as it is gross. The hair dryer had a 'Failed. Do not use' sticker on it from it's PAT test. Great friendly staff though. Bed was comfortable enough. Breakfast was of course not included but from the extensive Wetherspoon's menu. I had as always the vegetarian breakfast. Toast was not really toasted. Mushroom was stone cold. But you gets what you pays for and a cooked breakfast and as much coffee as you can drink for under a fiver? I'm in!Important context: My experience was a 1 night stay and does not represent this establishment in it's entirety. No-one in hospitality sets out to provide a poor experience. Anyone can have an off day

The better wetherspoons in Wigan as they have nicer outdoor seating here. Parking is 1 pound per hour but you can get an hour back from the bill upon a spend of £5. Keep your token and present it upon ordering.

Absolutely awful. Ordered small fish chips and peas. The fish was very dry not much flesh chips just warm and the peas like warm. Coffee was tepid. Would not recommend. Not been for a while, certainly won't be returning.

Made the mistake of ordering a large breakfast AND 2 slices of black pudding, I hate wasting food so my hounds were ecstatic with the sausages and bacon they had when I got in! Staff were very helpful and pleasant! Definitely a SMALL breakfast next time!! 😅

Lovely food nice warm welcoming staff. Great atmosphere. The beer is cheap too. Some places charge almost £5.00 a pint . We go to the Brocket every week. .

Went here yesterday 12.2.22 for an early tea. The pub was extremely busy and we struggled to find a table. We ordered on the app and took advantage of the Valentines day offer, 2 courses and a drink for 2 for £20. Food was hot and tasty, but they don't have custard for the apple crumble! It did not taste the same with ice cream. Wasn't told how to get money back for parking, but wasn't overly bothered.

Stayed over for the night in the hotel. My room was on the small side for a double, but clean and tidy. The beer variety was superb with table service via app which was on point. Breakfast was awesome next morning which helped after sampling too many of their beers 👌 👏 👍 Can't fault this place and will definitely be staying again when in Wigan

At the moment I really cannot find fault with this place. My favourite meal is the festive blue cheese, chicken burger. It is one of my absolute favourite meals to eat at the moment. Setting is spacious, good atmosphere but not overwhelming.

We stayed over night here and the noise of the extractor fans was so annoying. Rooms were basic but clean! Karen on reception was excellent at checking us in!
