The Crooke Hall in Wigan

The place is so nice and friendly, lovely atmosphere and drinks, they let us sleep overnight in our van using their back parking as we were heading back home to the south from Scotland. Thank you guys! 👍👍👍

Lovely location with a nice stroll along the canal. The food was basic but well cooked. Unfortunately the pub itself is very run down, and whilst its dog friendly, be careful in the car park as there was so much broken glass about we had to carry the dog incase he cut his paws

Great little traditional pub on the banks of the canal, good ale and serves simple good food, no fuss. Recommended

Had Sunday lunch yesterday with the family. The food was delicious. All home cooked, no cheating. Fresh and tasty. Staff were very polite and accomodating. Very reasonably priced.

Great place for relaxing and trying different beers and good food, always have the "crooked" meals on the menu... you can never go wrong with them

Good food and excellent beer, friendly staff. Got coal from coal boat Ambush as well. What's not to like.

Lovely friendly pub, food and beer were great and the staff were very welcoming. Stayed in my campervan in their car park and the staff made sure we had a really nice evening in the pub, even finding a little motorbike toy for my son to play with! Thank you - if we're ever travelling past again we'll definitely stop in

Lovely food and local real ale,not expensive... very friendly staff, lovely location beside the barges on the canal.. stopped overnight in the motorhome on reasonable flat carpark, lovely and quiet nights sleep, Would highly recommend.

This place has a certain style. Festivals twice a year see photo for this November. Limited draught cider but great ale. Didn't eat here but it looked good from afar. Right on the Leeds Liverpool Canal
