The Snug Coffee House in Wigan

This is a lovely place, The staff are all friendly and will go out of their way to do anything for you. Food here is amazing, from the breakfasts to the home made cakes. It can sometimes be hard to find a place to sit but that just goes to show how good they are. Foods cooked to perfection and are vegan and vegetarian friendly. We call in after a walk and get a cold drink and a slice of cake. They have several different options like Carrot cake, lemon drizzle, victoria sponge and chocolate cake. They have other options every now and then but all are very good.

This is a hidden gem of a place, tucked away off the high street. I swear, when you're sat there, surrounded by painted walls, flower filled pots, enclosed walls and blues sky's, you could be anywhere in the world!! It has a really nice chilled out vibe, a kind of coastal shack feel, without the sea! The beers cold and well priced and there's a good choice of wines, beers and spirits. Well worth a visit, or don't and let it be enjoyed by those who already love this place.

The Snug is a delightful cafe in a cobbled courtyard in Atherton. They serve vegetarian and vegan food including vegan cakes that are delicious. There is a nice range of fancy tea types. It is also a music venue in the evenings at weekend. Staff and customers are both welcoming and friendly.

We love The Snug Atherton, food is delicious and staff are brilliant - very friendly and welcoming. It is great to have a local business that serves such delicious vegan and vegetarian food. Great atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Love it. Really nice chilled vibe, doesn't feel like you're in Atherton. The place would be better suited in the Northern Quarter. LOVE that it's a veggie place too. Being a veggie myself I'm going to try and go semi-often and show them some love. Thanks guys.

Absolute gem!! Its tucked away down a little off road from the main shops, but it is worth it!! All of the food is freshly prepared, tea is loose leaf. The music and events are great. The whole place is missing only 1 thing......you!

Quirky with a vintage twist. I love this little café. It's so inviting and you can smell the beautiful food as you approach. The new location is definitely better for size. There's seating inside and out which makes a change for this area. I love the shear selection of tea and I'm slowly trying to work my way through them all. So far my favourite is the fairy wings tea. They also have a great milkshake selection. The bacon butties are amazing. Plus the homemade cakes and scones are a must try.
