So i waited twenty 20minutes to order two pints and two breakfasts. At 7am it fairly Q i dread to think what it was like at the height of summer.Breakfast followed around twenty minutes later. Same standard as a high street cafe just double the price. In terms of beers, it was a mediocre choice. They had a small selection of craft beer.

Did not eat here so can't comment on food but it was clean and tidy, toilets well kept and bar staff polite and efficient. Fair selection of beers too

Scruffy and dirty inside and they charge 3 quid for a small bottle of coors light. This place use to be reasonable but now they're just trying to rip people off. Won't be returning.

Amazing place and staff, I was offered stuff out the back when I was there which but me off but would go back, its very clean and welcoming and easy access for wheelchair users, also easy to get to the shopping center with in a min walk and it right by the bus station so easy access, will go back again

Popped in for a bite to eat while away. Great selection of ales for £1.50 on a tuesday. Friendly staff, I was served by Peter and Roxanne they were canny. I ordered the large mixed grill which was decent for the price. Steak was cooked perfectly. Would visit again.

Went in to watch a game I contacted them upfront if they can show it and they said yes. 10 Mins into the game the bar staff tells me they can’t get it to work. Unprofessionally to say at least. Never going back.

Been to this pub a few times and i always ask myself why i bother as it always dissapoints.Lovely building to look at externally but unfortunately that is where the compliments stop.As soon as you walk in you are instantly greeted with a discusting musty smell that is there week after week and never seems to leave the building. The mens toilets are discusting and im pretty sure the ape enclosure at knowsley safari park is in a cleaner state. The floor is always full of p*ss no locks on the toilet doors and generally look uncleaned and the smell is enough to make a pig puke. The carpet throughout the pub is minging and dated. The decor is like something out of a chavs house and is in desperate need of redoing. The furniture is dated and has tables that wobble which add to the frustration.Sorry for the bad review but seriously whatever brewery owns this pub should feel ashamed of themselves for letting it get to this state. Here's hoping this pub gets a much needed refurb in the very near future.
