Viet Shack in Wigan

It's all about the taste , superb ! I had the Shack fries , delicious meat, chillies, mayo and dipping sauce. It has to be the best plate of chips ever !!! 🤣💖

Lovely meal! I really like their lunch deal: £9.99 for any main with a drink and £10.99 if the drink is tiger beer. Their food is absolutely delicious. We tried the aubergine and the ribs as a started, both had a great sauce. I got the tofu wrap which was really tasty. I will definitely be coming back.The only issue is that at lunch time the menu is smaller, so I will definitely be coming back for dinner to try more food items

Superb little place, excellent choice of food which is all top quality. Served by friendly chatty staff in a calm yet vibrant atmosphere. Definitely a must try when in Manchester.

My first time visiting the restaurant, I've been a big fan of the food from the Arndale market location. They were super busy and staff were all amaaaaaaaaazing however the food took 40mins to get to us from ordering and there was no warning or explanation about the wait. Will probably stick to the market for speediness.

I got a takeaway and I was impressed. Delicious tasty food. Definitely recommend if you're about in Manchester. Dog friendly dine in. Shack rice was lovely and the ribs and tiger prawn..

Food is delicious and reasonable prices. It’s very busy so we had to sit outside and couldn’t change the table. So that was the only drawback.

Viet shack is a Vietnamese burger restaurant fusion. I ordered the Vietnamese side of the food and was honestly let down. It wasn't very authentic and the summer rolls were quite bland. There a better options for authentic Vietnamese around so I'd recommend going elsewhere. The beef in the pho was cut too thick and was too chewy. The broth itself was quite flavourful. This restaurant is a very "British" version if Vietnam and I feel they are more orientated with their burgers. If you want a fancy burger and chips then maybe go here. Their prices are also very high and for 2 of us there was a 10% service charge. Speaking of service our waiter was very nonchalant, and the staff were very noisy and chatty in the back. I understand being relaxed at work but it went to the point of unprofessional. Overall not amazing. Probably won't be back. Disappointed

Really great food and large portions! I had the sweet potato loaded fries and it was excellent!!! So much to choose from on the menu without being overwhelming. Staff are friendly and helpful. No bookings so had to wait for a table but the waiting time wasn't too long and it was worth the wait.
