We were told our food would be ready in 30 minutes.....turned up after 40 minutes. Waited another 45 minutes for the collection, they had the audacity to charge us for the £10 for 2 beers we had while waiting, then forgot our keema naan and bhajis. Lovely food though. The lads also Weren't happy with United drawing with villa.

Just enjoyed a perfect takeaway from the Royal Bengal. Our food was ready on time despite the restaurant being very busy and was piping hot when we got it home. Delicious Indian food and great service. Thanks very much 😀. Well recommended!

First time visiting the Royal Bengal restaurant and definitely wont be the last!! A true hidden gem!! Amazing service from all the staff who couldnt do enough for us, with a particular mention to Raj our waiter!! Such a lovely fella, polite, courteous and very attentive! Delicious food! My girlfriend and I stayed overnight in Hensall and decided to drive up to West Kirby in the evening for a walk around the Marine Lake. After a brisk walk and a beautiful sunset we ventured in to town to find somewhere to eat and stumbled upon this place. It was very busy, which is usually a good sign. I ordered a Chicken Balti and my better half had a Malayan. We had the dips tray with poppadom to start and it was a nice mix of sweet flavoured onion, mango chutney, Yoghurt and a mild spicy sauce. As for the main - I can honestly say that this was one of the best Baltis I've ever eaten! A perfect medium spice curry which left a wonderful tingle on the tongue and gums long after I'd finished. The garlic Naan bread that accompanied it was a good size, fresh and very delicious. For the Malayan they use banana and my girlfriend found it to be creamy, sweet and delicious. To top things off all of the staff were very friendly and attentive, we heard many compliments being given around us. All in all a very lovely experience and I wouldn't hesitate to visit again.

Lovely food (only had the vegetarian options) and really good service (it was a Monday night!). Highly recommended, as good an Indian restaurant as any in the Wirral.

Shame to lose such a loyal customer, I have been going to the Royal Bengal for 10 years , even after change of ownership they looked after me as a customer - but this evening that’s all gone out of the window - one of the co owners has always said to me “Matt we will always deliver to you, it’s never an issue” tonight I ordered at 6-30pm - unable to leave because of the children being in bed - an hour later it’s not possible , I am told I am also the boss and we won’t deliver ! Such a shame to lose a loyal customer that has recommended so many customers to you. I hope one busy evening delivers more than a loyal customer with the amount of recommendations and money I have given you over the years ! FURTHER TO YOUR RESPONSE - yes it has ruined my experience - you took my order and assured me it would be delivered - some 1.5 hours later I had a call saying that you wouldn’t deliver it , you have always sad “it is never a problem” I even said it doesn’t matter if it is much later - so you have completely gone back on your word , even said - well he shouldn’t have taken that order , is that my fault ? My daughter had just come out of hospital and I had no food or way of getting to you , you took the order and assured me you would deliver as you have always done - completely rude on the phone and disrespecting your co owner saying “I’m the boss tonight” I will come in and see you soon when all the bosses are back so we can have a discussion and sort it out - in the meantime you have a rice on the menu after my name that I created - please ensure it is removed.
