Brewers Fayre Burleydam in Wirral

Chain pub food, order via the till points if you can find any staff. Food was average at best. Soft play area is good for little ones though. Not enough to make us return however.

Haven't even eaten yet and am leaving a bad review. arrived for diner at roughly 8 pm and it took ages to be shown to a seat by a very unenthusiastic waitress I wait and wait to be served .I ask and was told to get my own at the bar.. 15 minutes later I decide to order 2,get back to the table to find a lady taking drink orders. Try and order food and again waited ages with I'll take your order.. THE WAITRESS THAT TOOK ME TO THE TABLE didn't know where I was sitting After driving 11 hours you don't want to be treated like they don't want you there

Had a meal here Saturday lunch. Although we had not booked they managed to find us a table saying they were really busy. We got to our table but there were lots of unoccupied tables and still were when we left? Surely all those tables weren't booked and the people didn't turn up! Meal was average. I had hunters chicken must say chicken breast was small. I've had this meal before and it was a much better portion. Price was £10.29. Didn't wait too long for our meals which was good.

Visited with my wife for lunch and we usually enjoy the food here but today the smothered chicken didn't cut the mustard! The chicken was grilled to death and was very hard and burned underneath. Did my best to separate the edible top part from the base but with great difficulty; luckily I had upgraded the chicken and had two pieces rather than one with one piece being slightly better than the other! Disappointed that nobody came to ask if the food was ok and so didn't wish to make a fuss thereafter. So sad because we really do enjoy coming here :(

Highly recommended carvery, brilliant value and best carvery around. Chef who served the carvery was so warm and friendly. Will definitely be visiting again on a Sunday.

Went for the 2 for 8.99 meals, fish and chips were tasty, the fish was huge! Smothered chicken was really good too, drinks were nice, atmosphere was good and would definitely go again, been before in the past couple of years ago and wasn't the best so stopped going but glad to see it's improved.

Christmas day in turmoil , we were doing Christmas Dinner for members of our family so full dinner prep was required, alas covid struck some members of the family. All change. None can now come to us so what do we do now. Burleydam to the rescue, phoned up couple of days before Christmas, can you fit me in ? No problem, few slots left but come along. Christmas has been saved. The place felt perfectly safe to be in, with covid restrictions. The staff were all superb from the manger who helped fit us in, to the waitress who served us, and the chef who carved the turkey .Many thanks to all for making the dinner a success after tragedy.

Great pub with a good atmosphere. Staff all very polite, helpful and sticking to the latest covid guidelines.Food is very good value, great quality all round and cooked to perfection.Busy for a Wednesday night, so a decent crowd in.Had to move tables mid way thru order due to some numpty playing a game on his phone at full volume, but staff were very accommodating.Look forward to returning soon. 👍

Haven't been here in years, but really lovely to come back and have a gokd meal with my family. Definitely coming back!

Tandoori mixed grill and chicken and ribs...delicious and fresh. Staff couldn't be more attentive, lovely experience for the first time out for my mum.
