Bridge Inn in Wirral

We are not from round here we come up to port sunlight to see my mum a few times a year, would usually stay in the hotel but we were told its closed for a refurb. Look forward to seeing it reopen. It was great to see Claire again, always good to see a familiar face, she really looked after us last time we stayed and again on this visit.

Came here for lunch last week with the family. Would highly recommend, service was quick and food was delicious! The staff really do go the extra mile and they all seem very knowledgeable about the history of the village! Claire was kind enough to show us a lovely picture of the pub from when the bridge was still in place!

I always feel comfortable eating here. It has a nice atmosphere & the menu has a good varied choice. We have had Christmas dinner here several times & really enjoyed it. Never felt rushed at all & the homely feel helps. The staff are friendly, but there are times when there is a bit of a queue at the bar & only one member of staff serving. To me, it's a home from home place & my No.1 choice if we are having a family occasion/treat.

Enjoyed their steak & ale pie although it was very large but I did manage to finish it. Only downside is the ladies toilets could do with & upgrade very dated & out of 3 cubicles only 1 was working. But apart from that very enjoyable visit.

Was extremely busy when we went and things where running slower than normal.However staff where courteous, kept us informed and were professional at all times.Food was great, which is the most important thing, and had no problems whatsoever.Will be going again in the near future.

Christmassy atmosphere and very friendly staff. Food was a really good price, came fairly quick and was lovely and hot. Definitely will be back.

I’ve been here twice in the past couple of weeks, two members of staff that really stood out to me with their fab service and friendly faces are Amy and Cherline. It’s welcoming to see staff being friendly and happy to help, as I’m sure they have been super busy this festive period and the thanks and rewards are few and far between! Not to forget the kitchen staff, both times I’ve ordered food and there was a wait on 35+ minutes but both times my food has come out before the stated time and it was delicious!

Visited for the first time Monday 6th December. Ordered Rump steak and it was just delicious… cooked to perfection by chefs Dina and Anne… our waitress Shanny was ever so friendly as was your barmaid Amy. We picked up a festive menu and will definitely be returning

Went last night for a birthday meal, food was excellent, staff were attentive, friendly and helpful 10/10 if I could give 6 stars I would. Thank you to all the staff and olly, merry Christmas
