A superb restaurant with some amazing staff. Had such a great time here with friends. The food was of course amazing and very filling, the wine selection too. Highly recommended your try this place, they will look after you and make it a great experience.

Thoroughly enjoyed the starter which was exceptional in taste, however the Sunday roast , although delicious, was nothing out of the ordinary. Cannot fault the staff, they were very attentive and polite. Unfortunately the setting and the vibe of the place are terribly bland.

We go when we can. Food is excellent

Ridiculously overpriced for the quality of the food. I had high expectations and it fell well below the bar unfortunately. At this price range I expect elevated flavours but the meal was bland and the parmesan and truffle chips tasted like old fat/grease. We had the two course evening menu (salt and pepper squid, duck potato cake and beef featherblade). We were going to have pudding but decided against as the main wasn't good. The interior also doesnt match the price of the food, looks a bit cheap and no atmosphere. There are other restaurants on the Wirral doing this type of dining experience to a much better standard, from interior to food and price.

We visited Burnt Truffle to celebrate a family member's 60th birthday. Each of our party travelled 70+ miles as this was a central meeting point and really didn't disappoint. We ate from the Sunday menu and I had roast beef which was just incredible. There were children in our party who all ate well, their meals looked amazing especially the fish goujons with huge pieces of battered fish and a great portion of chunky chips. There were some delicious wine recommendations, and we also ordered the birthday cake which was fantastic and available for us to take home as we were all so full.Final shout out to the incredible staff who are knowledgeable, friendly and super helpful. Can't recommend Burnt Truffle enough and will definitely be back!

Sat at an outside table on a sunny Friday lunchtime. Great staff, friendly, attentive and knowledgeable without being overbearing. Excellent with regards providing gluten-free options, very good menu in this respect. We went with the 3 course full bistro menu. The food was immense, excellent quality and the flavours were outstanding! Highlight was the main course of featherblade of beef which was absolutely incredible, the texture and flavour was out of this world. Some lovely touches at start and end of meal with some little extras. Did briefly consider giving four stars as overall quite expensive on first sight. However, you do get what you pay for and this was worth every single penny. Congratulations Burnt Truffle.

Unreal Sunday roast. 3 course Sunday roast for £30 is great value and the service was excellent

Amazing restaurant, fantastic food, great staff

First meal out this year and it was amazing. I actually wanted to order 2 starters but I was so full I'm pleased I didn't.The terrace was lovely and there were clear covid precautions but still warm and friendlyMy friend is also vegan and they made loads of options available to her and were really clear. As good as all of my food was I think the whole roast cauliflower was the winner.

Food is great considering the size of the menu. The prices reflect the presentation more than the size or quality of the food. Everything other than 1 plate (5 of us 3 courses) was good but not great. The fish was undercooked on both the starter and main and cod had bones in it. Would expect better for £23 for a piece of cod and 3 small potatoes. The deserts are really good, the wait staff and other guests ruined the experience.
