We decided to try the farmers Arms for my daughters birthday meal. Considering it was quiet and we had rang prior to going to find out how long meals were taking to be served. As we were led to believe that around 10 to 15 minutes wait. We dropped in and placed our order. After waiting close to an hour I mentioned to a member of staff we are still waiting for our meals and noticing others complaining about how long food was taking. Eventually the food turned but we had no cutlery. The tables hadn't been cleaned also. The food was really basic and similar to what you would expect from a cheap kebab shop. We left really disappointed.

First time at Farmers under new management. Excellent service from Matty on arrival and all through the evening. Roast beef was superb as was our other meals. It had been a busy sunny Sunday yet staff were still happy and considerate, well done to Freya and Maya on the bar. Also behind the scenes to all kitchen staff. Would highly recommend a visit.

I've been to this pub twice in the last week and been refused food. First time they says they don't sell food all day. Then the second time because they had too many orders, well there was no one in 5he pub and not even all the seats were being used. So don't get why it was falling behind on orders. Not been impressed this the farmers arms it's being run by kids.

I came here today very exited for a nice pub tea! Was happy with the playground as my son loved it and the fact it was dog friendly, lovely decor and nice friendly staff too.Ordered some food and was quickly disappointed to find my sons burger bun was rock hard, made a staff member aware who quickly apologised and changed it for a fresh one. Then my partner was served his hand carved ham WHICH WAS OFF! it was grey and green smelled absolutely rotten and sour!! appalled was not the word as you could clearly see that ham should not be that colour so i don’t know why it was served that way so we made staff aware and told them that he wouldn’t be eating the food there! i then checked over my and my sons food and it was ok, the staff member quickly come back to apologise about the standard of the ham and then was made aware that it had been taken off our bill and off the menu too which was great full for but this just put us totally off our experience there and sadly won’t be returning because previous experience there was excellent such a shame that this happened today.:(

Worst dining experience Ive ever had, and that's no exaggeration. Steaks well overcooked so complained and they were replaced with steaks well overcooked. Chilli was freezing so asked for it to be replaced, it was taken away and after 30 mins it still hadn't been replaced so we cancelled it and a family member went without food. Asked for a side of chips which came when the meal was nearly finished. Table was eventually cleaned up about an hour after we'd finished eating. It wasn't even busy, the place was empty and now i know why. Went last year under different owners and it was perfect. The prices are the same but the quality and service is nowhere near the same standard. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere.

On the surface this place looks amazing. Massive outdoor TV, swings and climbing frame for the kids but, then you realise that the female staff are allowed to wear inappropriately short shorts. Two members of staff were obviously a couple and were kissing/light petting blatantly on the grassed area whilst working. Staff members on a break round a table swearing quite loudly in their conversation with kids nearby. The food is not properly detailed on the menu. It doesn't state that they use brioche buns for kids burgers not normal bread (they did offer to swap it with a naan bread but, it didn't arrive so Burgers went cold), the burgers were very dry and one was burnt. Far too much salt on kids chips. The assistant manager was sitting on the decking and only moved out of his seat once the whole time we were there. The only saving grace was the young waiter who was fresh out of school (my Son recognised him) who came to see if everything was OK. He offered to replace our meal (which we didn't want) but, then offered a refund on our food. He also insisted that it wasn't normally like this and that the food was usually excellent. It should be given the prices they are charging. If we ever return it will be because of this young man. I have been coming to this pub on and off for most of my life (I am 51)and it is nowhere near as good as it used to be. So disappointed 😞
