Hungry's in Wirral

Ordered fish chips and curry, the food was delicious until I poorer the curry sauce onto it, it had no taste and came out like water, ruined all the food, hungry is normally a reliable place to go, however on this occasion, the curry sauce was like rain water.

Ace chip shop.Not a huge fan of the chinese meals; however, really good fish and chips.Edit 2022: been for chinese meals again recently. Either I was wrong the first time, or their loads better

Am a rare visitor to a chippy. I like the fish here. Not cheap but you get what you pay for. Beware that a "large" chips is huge! The curry sauce is good also.

Generally good food my fish was good but my partners sausages were only lukewarm. Friendly staff though.

Well my first time going here tonight.Terrible shambles. It was crazy bonkers.It's the worst chippy I have ever ever had and will not be returning.Fish was cold,the batter was soggy and not crispy. The sausages tasted awful had to leave it. They spent to much time rushing to serve customers where in fact if they slowed down a bit and serve a few customers first then take more orders might work better for them. Horrible horrible horrible don't waste your money much better chippies around

Always used hungrys for our family takeaway but not anymore after tonight. Not only was I left waiting on the phone for 35 minutes to make my order but the chicken I ordered was raw in the middle and when I called to complain and ask about the temperature probe used to test the temp, the guy didn't have a clue what I was on about. I told him I'd be down for a full refund on the whole meal. When I got there, the staff were rude, one even sniggered. The manager refused to speak to me and he only refunded the piece of raw chicken and not the whole meal as promised. Luckily I have kept the chicken and taken photos and I am informing food. gov. The attitude of the staff was utterly disgusting. I wander how they would feel if they received that chicken for one of their children. Discusting.

Just finished my gorgeous fish chips and mushy peas from Hungary's, service was quick fish cooked fresh while you wait... Really couldn't falt it. Staff were pleasant will be back soon 😋

My family and i have been using hungry's for a bout 4 years now sadly my visit last weekend was my last. The quality of the food has deteriorated and the place seems to be run by chavs in tight fitting sports ware one female staff member in paticular ( fat face'blond hair and to much make up) could really do with a lesson in customer service. She has a bad attitude how she got through her interview is beyond me! Despite ordering my food and arriving on time i was told it wasent ready and would have to wait! I will be going else where in future.

I love hungrys it's my favourite takeaway. The food is yummy. Fish and chips are great. The batter is always crispy and not too thick. The sweet and sour is the best from any takeaway ive ever had. I get it delivered and they are always in good time
