Marigold Fish and Chips in Wirral

Very good range of nice fish and chips, other options and the possibility of gluten free if you ask. Very nice.

Visited Marigolds for the first time and was pleasantly surprised that the reviews I've read on Google was accurate. Marigolds is well situated on a nice street in West kirby , its close to the beach ⛱ and other local amenities. Upon arrival we was served promptly and our fish 🐟 and chips 🍟 arrived freshly cooked and it was a very big fish portion ,well worth the money. The 🐟 was moist and batter crispy. I would of liked the chips cooked a bit longer but that's a matter of personal taste. Overall Marigolds is well worth a visit if you're in West kirby. We enjoyed our fish and and chips luncheon. Definitely give it a try 👍🏻

Great menu recommend more to go here. The waiter may of spilled a glass of coke all over my 2 month old son but accidents happen. However was very apologetic and offered to clean it of him with his tongue. Great place will come again.

They don't take card. What a joke. You also put vinegar on my chips when I specifically asked for just salt and but there was so little salt and vinegar I might as well have had a baked potato.Taking card online via Deliveroo is not the same as taking a simple contactless payment at the till you plonker.

Absolutely the best fish and chips I've eaten.Crispy batter. Light, fluffy fish. Perfectly cooked chips. The portion sizes are very generous and the quality of the ingredients is perfect. They clearly use fresh fish, not frozen!Really friendly staff who are always smiling.

For the price and the quality its not worth it. We got a chicken burger, kids meal, chip batch & 3 cans of pop which came to £20 in this day and age how can you justfy that? Definitely will not be going back as the more traditional chinese chippy around the corner will be much cheaper.

Best fish and chips we've had in ages.Generous portions, quick service, and some seats outside to devour our lunch in the sun.

Moved to the wirral a year ago and haven't found the perfect fish and chips until we visited West kirby, my nose led me to marigolds, what a find , large fish of the day cooked perfectly and plenty of it, lovely chips, best fish and chips I've ever tasted , marigolds is now my forever chippie.

One of my favourite places to go for a chippy. If we are going for a nice walk around West Kirby then here is a must.We often travel a fair distance just for a walk and a sausage chips and gravy. But I've never had a bad meal here, food is always hot and well packaged. Wish they took card but its not an issue as they're only 3 doors away from a cash machine if I ever forget.

Edited review sorry was a mistake lovely chip shop never had a bad meal from here and it's one you can trust with 5 rated food standard. Lovely food in great location.
