Nelson Hotel in Wirral

We had an enjoyable lunch. The staff were very helpful. Very quiet when we were there.

I would Not recommend this place if you're going out for a Drink.It's more for food.The cask Beer would never win a CAMRA award it's awful.It's full of pensioners and feral kids.The manager and staff haven't got a clue about service.Maybe that's why the regulars left and went to the lighthouse and Farmers.👎

Visited tonight with my daughter for our tea on the way home. What an absolute joke!!! I ordered a haloumi salad taco as I wasn't very hungry. Daughters food was OK, its usually burnt to a crisp but tonight's offering wasn't too bad but if 3 pieces of singed haloumi, dry, brown leaves and 2 taco shells is acceptable then shame on you!!! I did tell the waitress but I cannot believe that was sent out as an order. Won't be visiting again, appalling food, you seriously need to have a word with your chef. I took pictures I was so appalled but won't allow me to upload.

Busy, popular pub. Very nice function room upstairs. Great variety of good food supplied at the function I attended.

We are at the nelson every week it is such a friendly pub and the staff are so friendly and helpfull also the food is so good and value for money .

meal ok but it was freezing cold in there. What's happened to the Nelson? it needs more welcoming colours it's painted white everywhere

Food was amazing and hot. Service was excellent, thanks to the young lady who helped me with the drinks, as I had to take a very important phone call. Highly recommended. xx

We booked a table in the sports section to watch the rugby. Staff were very busy but most friendly and acomodating. The food was excellent. Thank you for an enjoyable evening

A lovely place to eat and drink. Staff are friendly. Food was fantastic and a reasonable price. A nice, cosy atmosphere. My first visit to The Nelson but definitely not my last. I was visiting for a colleagues leaving meal. I would recommend this place to everyone.
