Paolos Pizzeria in Wirral

Fantastic pizza's, honestly the best I've had in the UK. A really nice atmosphere and the staff are really friendly. I would highly recommend the cherry and meringue ice cream 🙂

High quality pizza and well flavoured Italian food made with care. Quick service provided by very friendly, competent staff and a pleasant atmosphere overall. Would go as far to say it's the best choice for an eaterie in the Heswall area and certainly the best pizza I have had to date.

Love this place for its relaxed atmosphere and authentic tasting pizza. Staff very friendly and attentative. Would recommend.

Excellent pizza . I had a capricciosa and my son had a diavola. Very good service too. And some classic Italian 60s music . The fact that I have the same first name is immaterial as I am not involved in the business in any shape or form 🙂

We were so excited to try this place. Staff friendly but very young and not attentive you had to ask for cheese / salt and they did one and walked off we had to get there attention again and say can we all have cheese please. My husbands meal was forgotten the other 4 of us had finished our food by the time his arrived. My pudding was brought over the waitress hadn’t noticed it was stuck to her top and then coffee at the end of the meal served in a big mug. Super disappointed wouldn’t return at all.

Brilliant takeaway service. Staff were so cheerful and welcoming. Best pizza on the Wirral - on par with those in Italy. We were very impressed with the range of vegetarian pizzas too - not just the simple “bung every veg we have on it without a thought”. We had the Quattro Formaggi and the Mediterranea. So pleased to have a good pizza place near us!

Once again great pizza and a really nice friendly atmosphere., But really disappointed by the clients who walk around the restaurant without face masks. If you are not sitting at your table eating and drinking wear a face mask it is compulsory. This is why hospitality on the Wirral will be closing down again this week. Why do you have to be so stupid just follow the rules!

Small and intimate, set out of the way. Our visit was at lunchtime. It was a beautiful day so the glass front doors where wide open. It was a little on the chilly side so we sat inside but had the benefit of the outside too. It was relatively quiet for the time of day which for is was a bonus, the staff were spot on. We had two pizzas to share between the three of us, plenty for lunchtime. They were delish 👌Plenty of choice of pizza and all freshly cooked. Each one can be done as calzone too if preferred. The pasta dishes sounded delicious too. I look forward to trying them!Only complaint... and it isn't really a complaint. Sometimes you just want that little bowl of hot, fresh fries. I'd have been happy to pay £4-6 for the measly portion you expect in a nice restaurant. Food for thought for their profit margins maybe? I digress. Its not on the menu and therfore shouldnt be mentioned. Personal preference is all, if anything they did me a favour 😂

Amazing! Heswall is well known for its vast array of pizzerias, let me save you some time, ignore the rest, Paolos is best! Seriously, this is as authentic as you’ll ever get this side of France, just beautifully made perfect tasting pizza. The Duck and hoisin sauce pizza is the future!

Flawlessly perfect Pizza, lovely customer service, nice setting and we'll decorated to match the pizza style. Even has a big fired oven which just makes the experience even better. Prices are good, we found a voucher on a discount website so was even better value. You're missing out by going anywhere else, miles better than Pizza Express.
