Portofino Restaurant in Wirral

Had a lovely meal with a friend. Service was friendly and helpful. Food was fantastic and large portions, even had desert.

Fabulous food, relaxed atmosphere great staff. Clean toilets.

Visited today as a family. Although we were walk ins and hadn't booked we we're accepted to eat here and seated. It must have took the staff around 15 to 20 minutes to get us a menu. Arrived at 17.20, we didn't even have a drink at our table an hour later and the food arrived an hour after that. Only ordered mains. 2 hours to recieve 1 drink and 1 main. 1 manager and 1 waitress on the floor, the waitress was also responsible for making and serving drinks. I ordered the seafood linguini , the calamari in it was like rubber and a couple of muscles where still closed .I'm very sorry but if you are going to accept to seat people make sure you can actually serve them in a respectable time.Do not come here if you are in a large party as the staff can't deal with the pressure.

We celebrated my grandads 80th birthday here a couple of weeks ago. The food was delicious as always, and each course perfectly timed with us all chatting and catching up. The staff were very accommodating to all 24 of us throughout the night and I'm sure we all kept them on their toes. They even entertain my grandad speaking Italian to them, such lovely people & I am sure we will all be back soon

Fantastic place. Fabulous food too. Had a lovely pasta dish with garlic bread. Daughter had pizza which was as good as you can get. Reasonable price for what you get. Make sure you book a table, gets busy after 5. Service was a little slow but only one waiter. Who may I say is fabulous too.

I don't know why I've never visited before. Theservice was great, staff were attentive and friendly. Food was well presented and delicious. Will definitely return!

Very Nice and Good taste. Parking is not free around but 5 mins walk from Morrison’s parking. Good quality. Nice location also with Sea Front Views

Amazing service, friendly staff and wonderful food! Didn’t book and managed to squeeze us in which was very nice. Made a special dinner off the menu which was delicious. 10/10 recommend

stopped off here last sunday while on a motorbike trip with my daughter. the staff from the start were very accommodating letting us park the bike in their grounds.stunning restaurant when we got inside and the staff are genuinely amazingfood was really good and the vibe was nice and chilled.will 100% return again
