Fantastic place lovely food, great staff and new menù

Great outside sitting area close to bar entrance. Friendly staff. Didn't try the food but what went past to other tables looked very good 🙂

The young lady who served us was lovely and looked after our family really well. Highly recommended food was delicious 😋

What's the food like? Who knows? Turned up on time for a booked table. Sat for over half an hour without anyone even taking our order. The manager was quite dismissive when we pointed this out. Quite a few other people seemed to be sitting at tables in the restaurant with no food on them. We left. Won't be troubling the place again.This is the first time I've ever left a one star review about anywhere.

Visited for a family meal in December 2021, party of six.Greeted with a nice welcome from the staff, and the place was clean and safely laid out with a good amount of space between tables; with sanitizer available.We didn’t feel rushed at any point, and the atmosphere was relaxed. The menu was a reasonable offer and was priced as you’d expect. Food quality was okay.Would return if in the area again.

We have stayed here a few times now and can't fault anything. Clean rooms, good food, friendly efficient staff and a great location. One this occasion the hotel were experiencing problems with their boiler, but management arrived with sincere apologies and heaters for our room, we couldn't have asked for more or been better looked after. Always love the atmosphere and food here.good menu choice. Staff friendly. Visiting again for the umpteenth time in December for their festive menu and friends' birthday celebrations.

Loved it. It's hard to fault this place. We were served by Jenny who looked after us really well the food was very good and the place itself is well run and very clean. Be warned it's popular so it's a good idea to book in advance.

Amazing little place to stay. The staff are amazing the food is amazing. Honestly not a bad word to say! Two years running we have stayed here for a short break and easily going to make it a third next year!

Fantastic to see the Green Lodge open again, and a great effort by all the staff to apply the Covid rules without being intrusive and overbearing, the sun was kind and we had a great afternoon.. Well done to all who work there.
