Silk Rd Heswall in Wirral

Hi arrived tonight at 7.15. Got our starter 60 minutes after arrival. No apology was not busy. Then mains arrived at the same time. Explained we asked for mains after starter. Mains were taken of bill because of quality of food and also of waiting time. We were served by Ben who was very polite and apologetic. We have been many times to Silk Road and to be honest quality of food has deterainted alot. Which is sad. I realize after COVID to find chefs and waiting on staff is very difficult. Would we go back. Yes if they can improve quality of food and service.

We chose 3 dishes each, which was too much for us. The food was excellent, especially the sliced beef. The Staff were very helpful. We will be going there again very soon.

Fabulous food and more than reasonable prices. Staff were friendly and explained the menu well. Lots of different flavours to choose from.

Could not recommend this place more! The staff were amazing in helping us pull off a surprise (esp Alice on the phone and Fern on the night) and just so lovely in general. Food is great and there’s a good amount of choice even for non meat-eaters!

Staff very personable and welcoming. Enjoyed the various tapas dishes which were nicely presented. Pizza was a bit burnt and dry but everything else was spot on. Nice atmosphere would recommend

Well what can we say our aim is to visit a differant restaurant every friday night on the wirral. This was our 4th one and we were so so so so impressed. The staff were so freindly our server Fran was so lovely she was so helpful and nothink was to much trouble for her. We will come again and ask for Fran to server us. The food was out of this world the flavours emmmmm what can i say Amazzzzing x

Great atmosphere..very welcoming hosts.At first, looking at the menu, my first impressions was another place where they add all in together ( as in the menu you can see nasi goreng, Malaysian rendang, Chinese, Indian n etc )Ordered vegetarian Aubergine Spicy tomatoes sauce and Fried Seabass Soo chee sauce for main n starter is mixed Pita bread with dipping sauce for £12 set menuMy husband had Thai beef with spicy Salad.What can I say..it's delicious, as a cook and fussy eater, I think they restaurante nailed it.Recommended to those who want light but filling lunch!

Staff were so friendly, food was delicious and lovely cocktails. Will definitely return.
