The Brass Balance in Wirral

This is very friendly, usually quite quiet during the day but that's not to say that there's no customers just that they are generally quietly talking in their groups. A wide range of draught beers (including a varying range of guest ales), spirits, cocktail sharers, as well as a self-serve tea/coffee/hot chocolate machine. It is a Wetherspoons so you may be aware of the Clubs they have on certain mid-week days (Steak Club on Tuesday, for example) where you get a meal for a reduced price than the usual menu price and a drink is included in that price. It can get bust and loud on a Friday and Saturday night but that crowd are usually on their way to a club or two and are usually in a great mood. Definitely sort s visit!!

Town centre Spoons. Advertised a Titanic Tap Takeover... sadly not on! Bar staff had no idea what I was talking about - Tap takeover? No, don't think so... However real ale range was reasonably good. Front of house bloke with hearing aids truly OUTSTANDING. Working so hard. He does the work of x3 staff - every Spoons needs one of him! Well worth a visit though

Friendly environment. Food always hot and tasty. Loads of different ales to sample. Would recommend a visit

Lovely jubbly! You can not beat weatherspoon pubs, nice and cheap.

Not impressed , warm breakfast beans only warm bacon same sausage nor very hot at all. Offered refund or re order.reordered beans still only just warm rest OK, but had run out of bread so no toast, not the best , a bad day for cook .normally very happy with service and food.

It's cheep and cheerful which is exactly what I'd expect from a Wetherspoon. Food is reasonably priced and get a decent amount on your plate.

Steak was cooked properly, pints were poured properly. The vibe was slightly off, but it was a match day so as to be expected

Food was warm and left drinks ok tho nice n cheap. Also nice place.

We were served by a very friendly bar man called Dave. And the meals we had were superbly cooked by the lady chef called Gill. Lovely clean pub. Will definitely return. 💯

Breakfast is always priced well for the amount of food you get. Usually served quickly too. Only minus one star due to cleanliness isn't the best but they are understaffed.
