Great selection of real ales and food was good. Staff very friendly and the building was amazing! If your after good value food and drink give this place a try.

We had a lovely evening with family. Great service and very friendly staff. Our only criticism was that 3 of us had the crispy Chipotle chicken to start and 1 person had the same meal at the same price as a main course. The difference was amazing the main course had loads more sauce and looked so much better our thoughts are maybe different chefs do different courses. Overall it was great.

I have visited the Greave many many times and have always been impressed. The Sunday roast is a must and I always book in advance.Today I visited and didn’t book as it was lunchtime so didn’t think it would be busy. We where seated in the bar area as we hadn’t booked which is perfectly fine. Usually we are served by a young lady and she is spot on, can’t criticise her service at all, today however I found her obnoxious and extremely rude. It seems like if she is not waiting on your table in the dining room she doesn’t care at all about customer service, and can be as rude to you, as she likes, as she isn’t working for tips at the end.The cutlery brought over was a little dirty so I took some out of a tray on another table which was unoccupied, she came over and rudely said that the cutlery was for the dining room guests and shouldn’t be taken out of the trays. Am sorry but if I wasn’t given dirty cutlery in the first place then I wouldn’t have needed to take it from the dining area. She then kept brushing past out table everytime she went back and forth like we didn’t matter. Can I just say how impressed I was with the lady behind the bar, I think she used to be the manager. What a credit to the whole company 10/10 a real down to earth nice lady!I love the Greave always have, let’s hope on our return I am served by someone else who isn’t just after a nice tip at the end

Average food at rather above average prices. I had the Steak and Guinness pie and there was a distinct impression of the multiple warm up about it. I have cooked much better myself. The 'Hit me' dessert is just like a frozen mars bar and nothing more. On the plus side I enjoyed the Oakham Citra beer on nice premises

Had a meal. The food and service both very good. There's plenty of room between the tables which I liked. Large free car park in the back. Staff very friendly and helpful.

I really love this pub friendly staff lovely food good selection good selection of lager beer ciders and spirits and wine a great social pub friendly regulars i can't wait to visit again soon. Great place to be with friends and family meals. Can't wait to visit again soon. They have quiz every Monday and Wednesday from 9pm every week and they have outside eating areas so it's really nice to eat out or in.

Met family for dinner as I live overseas and was very disappointed. Burger had the texture of charcoal as it was overcooked and chips were cold. Not the first time the food has been below standard.

Nice food and drinks. I used the app and didn't have to wait long for drinks or food. Was exceptionally busy and very very hot. I think because it has a low ceiling it makes it worse but nice atmosphere and staff were absolutely lovely. Every one we encountered.

Lovely staff but unfortunately food was poor. Ordered pork pulled nachos, came without the pulled pork. And although they immediately fixed the problem there was more cheese on mousetrap than on the nachos. My partner had the roast beef, the Potatoes were neither roasted or new potatoes, we couldn't work out if they were roasted with the skin on, they had to be left. And the beef was far too rare and chewy, it was also left. Very disappointed.

Excellent Christmas Day Lunch! Thanks again to Jon and the staff for surpassing my expectations yet again on Christmas day. All the food was cooked to perfection and well presented. The table service was organised with military precision - well done to all staff.
