The Master Mariner in Wirral

Shame nobody updated details to explain refurbishment until AUGUST 2022...On a mild but raining early June Sunday would have thoroughly enjoyed a nice lunch.Only one star as I could not eat or drink in this pub.Regional manager should be fired for overlooking this significant information, for potential customers. With tools at their fingertips they could have saved me an hour's journey (each way)... and they get PAID for passing on information... How about 5 free meals please, Wetherspoons ?

We walked out of one restaurant this lunchtime because we were appalled by their mega High Prices!We came here to Weatherspoons. Had Lunch for two, plus 2 drinks all cheaper that the place we just walked out of.Won't tell you it's name, but it has a fresh salad bar. Will never go back here now! Too Shocked!Weatherspoons was Fab. Staff Very Attentive. Food amazing and real great prices too.

Even lower in my estimation than the last visit. Informed of an hour and a half wait for food despite not being very busy. Very poorly staffed and badly run considering its prime location

I normally rate Wetherspoon's food really well given the price but it always seems sub-par in this particular establishment. I have had to return my last 2 meals and one of them I had to request a refund. Never get a pleasant response either. Not Wetherspoon standard

We had a two day break in New Brighton at the local travel lodge. Obviously we had to eat occasionally so we were really happy to find a Wetherspoons right there.We arrived in the area, put our bags in the room and went to get some lunch and a drink. We ate elsewhere that first night but had breakfast at The Master Mariner twice and an evening meal. Great food at a great price as usual. My curry filled me up and tasted fantastic while my wife had a steak night special.You really can't go wrong here, the service was quick and friendly and the food and drink is excellent and brilliant value.

Food was nice 🍻🥂🥙🍝friendly team🧔👩‍ 👩👨 the only thing let it down for us was people was allowed to smoke 💨 🚬up on the top or on the tables outside,◻️🚭 which I thought the law said you had be away from the building 🏢?⛔

I was here for a quick lunch, in 10 minutes I had my own food! I've done the order from the Qrcode and it was very fast!

My local. Great beer at great prices. A seat on the upstairs terrace outside gives you great views of the comings and goings on the Mersey. They've recently added vegan choices to the menu. Use the app to order and you don't even need to leave your seat.

We came here for a drink after a walk down new Brighton promenade. They have a good track and trace system for COVID but then you get inside the pub and nothing is clean so pointless to be honest. Won’t be coming back any time soon

Lovely decor! We love going for breakfast, gorgeous views over Perch Rock and Liverpool from upstairs upstairs. Lovely terrace in the summer both up and downstairs.
