Been going here a few times now and feel it gets a little bit worse everytime we go. Everytime we go atleast one meal is off the menu im guessing due to poor stock levels. Some staff at the bar are just chatting to each other, to locals or they just walk past you whilst your waiting to be served 'not my job' mentality. We had a side salad come with lasagne and it looked lifeless like it had been sat made up for a while before coming out.We ordered puddings which still weren't with us after 30 minutes, went back the bar to ask and they hadn't even put them through to be made, at this point they weren't particularly busy either. The lad who sits you down in the black shirt is a grafter and never stops rushing around and deserves credit though.

Hi this is our local pub. I rang on the Tuesday 26 April to book a table for 14 people on the Thursday 28 .I left a email on there website to book a table .I got a message back saying someone will get back to me with in 24 hours with availability. No one got back to me .I find this very unprofessional. Will not be going there again .they need to change management. And staff .awful service .

We came here for breakfast and won't be returning.... We asked if our eggs could be poached instead of fried, the "chef" was at the bar and said nah I don't have the pan for it, any pan can do a poached egg?!?! If your "chef" can't poach an egg it's not a great sign.So we ordered 2 sizzler breakfasts which the idea sounds really good, instead it came served on what can only be described as a mountain of deep fried potatoes. My eggs were not even fully cooked the white was snotty on the top. We got about 4 button mushrooms if that. If you want some food I would not be going here, everything is very obviously either deep fried or pinged and there very actual cooking going on. I could have made better myself and saved £20... If my child wasn't with me we would have complained.

Long wait for food, we were a party of eight including a 5 and 9 year old celebrating a birthday for one of the adults. Ordering at 18.30 we checked in after 40ish minutes to be told that there was an hour delay on food and that we were told that at the time we ordered (we weren't) we were also told that we'd get it within the next 30 Minutes. We witnessed several smaller parties that arrived after us receive their food. By the time we got the first meal we were 90 minutes in, kids were cranky, adults were hangry, great place to celebrate an event! Asked to speak to the manager and the barmaid gave that kind of teenage neering laugh before getting the assistant. I complained we'd been in the pub for 2 hours, he helpfully corrected me that we'd only been waiting 90 minutes for food. Offered a round of drinks and some deserts for the kids, told him it was too late to be giving the kids pudding and we weren't interested. We won't be back, dozens of pubs that can handle tea time traffic without lying to you and making you wait for 90mins.

Based purely on service & attitude today. This is our local and we rarely have any problems. Arrived 4.50pm. A number of tables were empty but had 5pm reservations on them. Were told we could sit at a table that was booked for 7pm, as...in the managers words 'well, you're not going to be 2 hrs are you'. Ordered & paid for drinks and food by 5pm. Still waiting for our food at 5.50pm, when we asked a staff member to look into the delay. Table next to us, who arrived just after us, hadn't had their food either. But the tables booked for 5pm, who had all arrived after we had ordered - had actually all eaten and one table had emptied. Staff member never returned with any info. At 6pm we asked another member of staff, who also never came back. Back to original staff member who then said there was a 1hr wait on food...which you're always told when you order, but we weren't. And if they were that busy they'd have said like they usually do. At 6.10pm we told the manager we'd been waiting over an hour for food. He said there was a delay and we'd have been told, which we weren't. We said others had come in after us, had their food and actually left. We said it's too late, we want a refund and we'd leave. The service and attitude was terrible. To be told others had previously sat elsewhere & ordered before moving, getting their food & leaving, was a blatant lie as we'd seen them come in and take their coats off. When we said this was a lie - the manager told us to 'do one'. So unprofessional. Terrible attitude to customers. You really need to look at your customer service skills in future.

We've always had a lovely meal in the Swan. The staff are very friendly & efficient! It was my birthday today & they've added to my lovely day! Five star's ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐😊

Actually very good food here. I'm always impressed with the prices. Some of the starters are a tad small but that's coming from someone who likes a good meal. Always clean and friendly. Table service through the app. Just a shame it's a little to far for me to walk to.

Great pub with plenty of space and a big garden for the kids. Dog friendly outside. Food is chain style and ok for reasonably priced chain fare. Shows sports too if that’s your thing.

Great food and service here absolutely spotless and a friendly face behind the bar makes it all very relaxing Great to see a separate menu for the children also don't understand why more places don't go the extra mile and do the same Hunters chicken spot on.Excellent place to eat for all the family.
