The Village Fryers in Wirral

We have always enjoyed the food we have ordered. When family from out of the area come to visit, they always want us to order food. I would highly recommend!

Poor service, if you go in just for something simple like a portion of chips you still have to wait until all people in front of you are served even if they are all getting things that take time such as Chinese meals. Same for phone orders, may as well just join the queue

Always excellent but it now has plenty of competition in the village. The range of meals on offer is awesome .

I normally love this place but I am so disappointed tonight. We ordered food through the website at 6:15pm. Received confirmation to say that the order has been accepted and the preparation time updated to 45 minutes. After an hour and a half we rang up to be told it was out for delivery. Half an hour later, still nothing. We rang again to once again be told it was with the driver (no apology). After waiting 2 & half hours, we rang a third time - this time to be told that our order was never received and that the kitchen is now closed. We have wasted our entire evening waiting for food that was never even coming!!

Very friendly and helpful staff, who dish up the most amazingly wonderful tasty food, from which ever section of their menu you eat, from yummy fish and chips to delicious Chinese to scrummy burgers!!! We'd definitely recommend them!!!! 😃👍

We are regular customers of Villafe Fryer, so good to find a chippy with an extensive gluten free menu, such a treat and the food is always great, and they deliver, doesn't get better than that!!!

Ordered a couple of chicken kebabs and award winning fish and chips.... Nice kebabs I was told from kids.. As for the fish and chips probably the worst fish I have had the batter was so soggy felt like the fish had been sat in the heater for ages and the portion size for the price was not good just can't see how the fish is award winning..
