Always 5 stars. I can't understand why anyone would leave them less. These guys work extremely hard to give you the best food and service after surviving two terrible years of Covid. Just had another fantastic curry. We come from Garstang, passing other restaurants, for this because it's that good π

First visit yesterday, (24 feb), after a friend recommended it. He was right. It was excellent. The food was superb, the service was very efficient, friendly and helpfull, and the place was spotlessly clean. I had a starter of Onion bahjis ( 4 bahjis), which were light, and very tasty, and a main of Chicken Madras with boiled rice. Big tasty chunks of Chicken cooked to perfection. My mate had Poppadoms and chutney to start and Chicken Dopiaza for his main course. He really enjoyed it all. The portions were very generous, and there was food left over. The Staff were only too happy to give us doggy bags to take home the remaining food. I will definately visit again. If you like Indian food, you cannot beat the Barton Bangla for quality.

Words can not express my satisfaction after my visit today with friends. I simply asked for a recommendation from the lads of where I can have some quality Asian food and Barton Bangla was recommended.Amazing staff wounderful gentleman to greet you.Food was outstanding. Absolutely brilliant service and food. Staff were on point at all times. Couldn't fault anything. Made food to order for children who are fussy eaters too . Will definitely be returning.

Went NYE, party of 4. Waited about 40 minutes for one starter, then a total of 1 hour and 40 minutes for our mains. Whilst I appreciate they were short staffed, there were no apologies for the delay whatsoever, and we had to ask for main course. No one asked us if we would like any more drinks, and to top it all they couldn't find our bill π€¨. Shame really, as we have been a few times and never had any problems. The food though when it arrived was very nice, I have to say, although my husband's wasn't as described, he still enjoyed it.

Service poor: booked a table for 8pm wasn't seated until 9pm. I had to ask 3 times to be taken to our table and twice about our food wait times. I am pregnant and had an 1hour drive home so I was really tired. They said if I told them I was pregnant sooner (I am visibly pregnant) they would have sorted it faster, however, that shouldn't be the case. I tried to cancel the order twice but was told 3 minutes and your food will be out. A table next to us were seated before us and we observed them also complaining about the wait times. I felt sorry for the waiting staff as they were clearly very busy and the food wait is down to bad cheffing. Yet the waiting to be seated lays with front of house. It is waiting on staff that should be checking in on the customers. Service is very poor. We wasn't even offered discounted meals or free drinks (should expect but after a 2 hour wait time, you'd think they would offer some complimentary items).Food average: when the food came it looked good. It smelt amazing. However, it tasted like a curry from a jar. I was extremely disappointed, tired and hungry. I ate it but not out of enjoyment. I have had better curries from a takeaway in my home town. I have made better curries myself.I would not recommend and I would not return if visiting the flower bowl again in the future. Such a hype on their website about an award that has been won but I fail to see how.

Just been for the first time. What can I say, the best madras I've ever had. The best onion bhajis I've ever had. Rice and chips were really nice.Really nice friendly staff, great atmosphere and very good value for money. You can tell that quality products are used in the food.Would definitely recommend and we will be going again. And possibly for Christmas day or New year's eve night.
