Bay Horse, Thornton in Wyre

Well it's a lovely pub but what I don't get is I've been overcharged with the prices when i order food..It's not hard when it's all done on the computer..the best one is whem I mentioned it to member of staff she said well I don't care and I don't look at the prices.That's my only niggle when the staff in there should know the prices to the food..Example you order a burger with onion rings includes in the order them they charge you for extra onion rings which boost the price.upOtherwise it's a lovely pub but some of the staff don't care and that's not good for business..Thanks.

The staff were friendly. The food was delicious. I had the 14oz gammon and my friend had the bigger mixed grill she said it was really nice. The football game was on but it didn't bother us if it does both you I would go when they have finished and it should be much quieter. The prices are reasonable. The puddings were really good too

What an amazing, hard working team! Visited last week on a very busy night but never once had to wait for more than 5 minutes to be served on the bar. The food was absolutely amazing and came out quickly by G who didn’t stop the entire night. Every business needs someone like that and I’m glad The Bay has such a credit to their team ☺️

Only one chef for a busy pub? Absolutely unbelievable! Especially considering the money you must turn over. Very polite staff but we waited nearly 2 hours. Food was very good but the wait was ridiculous. Hire some help for your chef, they must be knackered!! 😂

They are more interested in closing the kitchen early and packing up than they are providing a service.Shame as the service and food is actually pretty decent.For example, we booked seats for a meal Via the website, booking confirmed, only to get there early and be told service had stopped 5 minutes before. This kind of thing has happened a number of times now. We simply aren't going to try and eat there again.

Very kind and helpful staff. Came in here to meet up with friends for a catch up and a brew, we're welcomed as soon as we came through the door by Gary. Ordered from the bar by G who was friendly and worked quickly to serve us our drinks. Mollie offered to bring the tray to our table which was very kind of her.All of them were very chatty and friendly. We decided to treat ourselves to a light bite and the food was sublime, the chef Scott is brilliant.Very highly recommended and will come again

A good place to go. Sometimes items on the menu are not available. The food is wholesome. If you don't mind going to the bar to order and pay for each meal and drink, dessert etc. The prices are very reasonable.

Ate at about 2PM today 23/11, pub not over busy. It was warm and clean, the toilets were clean and the menus were clean...all plus points. The young staff were attentive.We both had Chicken/Steak combos which were served hot and tasty.Best pub food we've had in a good while, well done chef and all.... thanks.

Can book a table via the website, when arriving quickly seated and advised to order from the app. All very clean and friendly staff. Food was quick and hot and yummy.Only tiny little quibble was I ordered chicken as starter with sour cream but I never got the sour cream and I had to ask for a knife with my fork but other than that will definitely go back for more food and drinks.
