China House in Wyre

Really disappointed, this is my favourite Chinese, went in earlier for a vermicelli noodle dish, six pound 20 on the menu and they tried to charge me six 90, I said you can't do this, she said we haven't changed the menu yet, sorry this is illegal if you have a menu out you have to stick to the prices

Ordered 4 different meals to be delivered to Fleetwood, arrived within 20 mins. No way can £33.90, 4 meals be cooked and delivered fresh so quickly. The chips tasted old/reheated, the rice was dry and the chow mein noodles were just a box of grease. Prawn crackers are usually a free item with larger orders but was told this was no longer available. I would rather wait an hour for fresh cooked food than have reheated food delivered in minutes. 0/10

Love the much box it is usually amazing and great deal of chips chicken rice and selection of spring rolls and batters balls but there should be more chicken wings

Our usual venue choice was closed so we chose China House in Cleveleys for our family take away. Totally disappointed. Artificial. Tasteless. Over-cooked. Basic. Worst EVER. The egg fried rice was glued together. The noodle dried up. The sweet n sour chicken in rubber batter chunks with a pot of illuminous orange glob (no peppers, onions or pineapple. This is not a dish but a cheap option. Chips served dried and reheated. Will NEVER revisit. Or recommend. AND over-priced. Plus …it was miraculously ready in 10 mins from ordering. We should have doubted then !!

Excellent selection of dishes all at reasonable prices. Dishes contain a large quantity of very tasty food. Cooked to order whilst waiting a very shorttime in the shop, although you can 9rder by phone either for collection or delivery. Highly recommended

Always order from here but never again, the chicken was so dry and the crispy chilli beef was inedible , couldn't chew any of it , the special rice was lovely and the salt and chilli chips was lovely but the rest was awful

Ordered from here for this evening and I won’t be ordering again. I ordered Hot and sour soup, special fried rice, spare ribs with sweet and sour sauce. The soup was great, no issues there. Sadly that’s the only positive I can offer for this review. The rice was tasteless and didn’t have much meat content in it for a special fried rice. The ribs lacked salt and flavour in general. The sweet and sour sauce also lacked flavour and was that bright I am sure if I had turned the lights off it would have glowed. Very disappointed. My partner ordered a chicken chow menu, it was inedible. Salty, dry and the noodles were so over-cooked they were rubbery. My daughter had the crispy duck which she said was quite nice. For £38 of food I expected much better than I got. Very disappointed

Ordered for the first time on New years Day. Friendly and helpful staff. Order arrived well within time. Huge portions honey ribs and chicken fried rice delicious. Sweet and sour chicken very tasty my wife who is very picky really enjoyed it. Chips a little overcooked and curry too spicy for me but that's personal taste. Will use them again.

We ordered a char sui chow mein. Salt and pepper chicken and chips a crispy shredded chilli beef with a hot and sour soup and prawn toast with a sweet and sour special. Everything was lovely. The staff were lovely and helpful too. Will definitely use again.

Ordered from China House twice in the last month. On both occasions the food has arrived freshly prepared, piping hot with lots of good quality ingredients. The portion sizes are very generous and I would definately recommend them.
