China Lodge in Wyre

DISGUSTING! Ordered from here and it was vile. I had Chicken and sweetcorn soup and salt and pepper chicken. I ate some of the soup and a few pieces of chicken and my stomach started hurting. My elderly mother had something different and felt the same to! Not stopped being sick or off the toilet in 24 hours! When I rang to let them know about the situation, the man on the phone was very rude and didnt care. I asked for a refund and he said he couldnt do that but gave no reason to why? I told him that I will be reporting them to food hygiene and he said "whatever"!Never order from these rude people and clearly unhygenic place!!

Ordered salt and chilli ribs, all in one box shredded chilli beef and fried rice, not much taste in the ribs and the shredded chilli beef was burnt and dry, not impressed!

Placed an order for collection, guy on the phone sounded suicidal but we all have our off days.Food wasn't ready when I got there so I waited outside in my car for 10 mins and they brought it out, whilst sat there I made the mistake of reading the reviews online which are awful so I thought I would even things out a bit.What I purchased was all very nice,Crispy Duck Pancakes 7/10,Hot & Sour Soup 9/10,Crispy Shredded Chilli Chicken 10/10 Beansprout Chow Mein 10/10.

Don’t order from here, they always deliver 30-45 mins late, food always cold

Took 2 hours to deliver. Was awful. Worst Chinese we have had. Very vinegary sweet and sour sauce. The bbq was horrid. The chips were hard and the chicken was questionable. They did say they would resend out if it wasn't hot, the temperature of the food was clearly not the issue though.

It's not just the worst Chinese I've ever eaten, I'd say it's the worst food.Delivery lady was nice but 25minutes late.Visually, the food was underwhelming and clearly over cooked - the chips were extremely over fried and didn't have any seasoning, let alone any flavour of chili.The rest of the mixed starters were extremely bland and overcooked.The sweet and sour sauce didn't taste like your usual Chinese offering, but rich, sickly almost buttery.I don't think I've ever thrown almost a whole takeaway in the bin before, so this is the first. But will certainly be the last time I order from the China Lodge.Even the prawn crackers were dry!Avoid.

Genuinely one of the best Chinese takeaways I've ever been to. Girlfriend absolutely loves the chicken and sweetcorn soup, so much so we go just for that sometimes. Everything else we've tried has been fresh, delicious, piping hot, and always delivered around the stated time. We've probably been around 10 times in the past few months, varying times and days, and i still don't have anything negative to say.

Called to make order. Told can't do card payment over the phone so to order in Just Eat. Was told on the phone would be about 30 mins and then when order processed on Just Eat came up with over an hour. (Called at 18.15 and just eat said would be 19.30). Received a call from them at 19.10 to say would be about 20 mins. 45 mins later I called up and he said order has left the shop now. Waited a further 20 mins (we live 1.6 miles away) and taxi pulled up and order went next door and then when the realised came to my door. Said I had been waiting a while and he said is that why your staring out of your window.When ordering the food had asked if we could not have any spring rolls or chicken balls as we don't eat them and could we have a few extra chips and chicken pieces. Also asked for BBQ sauce instead of the curry sauce which with the munchy box. Order came, sweaty prawn toast which taste like the ones from Iceland. BBQ sauce came in a tiny pot, not even enough for 2 people never mind 4. Rice and noodles were cold, chips overcooked. Didn't seem to be any 'salt and pepper' seasoning in the box. All in all a terrible experience and I'm hoping China Lodge will get in touch as this was poor service, poor quality and left us all very disappointed and still hungry.Plus note prawn crackers were alright I suppose.

Absolutely disgusting service i placed an order online for delivery. I got conformation and then they cancelled my order. So phoned them up and asked why. Then they took my order again and said they would ring back and never did. I have used these for about 2 years now and they won't get another order of me . We even said we would collect and still couldn't give a s##t will not recommend again and will go to the Tasty Wok in cleveleys as they were very helpfull and my order was recieved my order was for £100 as had freinds round. Disgusting use another Chinese that actually wants to earn a living and treats customers with respect and not just chat s##t.TASTY WOK all the time from now on

The food was freezing burnt and salt and chilli munch box its vile, the curry sauce was solid lump and freezing, the noodles was dry plain and stiff!! And the fried rice don't even get me started, tasted like coffee!! Why would noodles taste like coffee!! Rang back complained and the guy in the phone was so rude!! Sorry nothing we can do!! £30 down the drain won't ever eat here again!!! Disgusting food and vile staff!!!
