Nice ambiance, with home-like décor and friendly staff. The price is reasonable and the portions are just the right size for a person with an average appetite.

Went here because our original plans went awry and definitely glad they did. Wonderful home cooked food, reasonable size portions, fab prices compare some other local places, friendly staff and welcoming environment. £22 for 4 people including drinks. Will be back to try more dishes on the menu. Thanks

Gorgeous food, family friendly, warm and cozy atmosphere. Me and my siblings have been going to this cafe with my dad since we were kids. Definitely reccomend

We had a lovely 3 course lunch in here. It was really busy and the staff were lovely .We'll definitely be back the next time we're down .

Traditional cafe. Food is excellent, freshly cooked, and great value. Service is fast and friendly. Children's portions are also great value. People who always eat at chains don't know what they are missing! I recommend the steak pie.

I had a fish and chips lunch here whilst on holiday. It was a very busy and noisy place but the staff were friendly and attentive. The food was freshly cooked to order so was nice and hot. The fish was very tasty. Portion size was a little small but adequate. I had a fruit pie with custard for dessert. The pie was great but the custard was awful! It was watery and lumpy. It was not a cheap cafe but neither was it exorbitantly expensive.The toilets were adequate and reasonably clean.If I was in the area again I would try out somewhere else to eat but would return to Clevelys Cottage if I had to.A nice little somewhat dated seaside cafe.
