Cube Bar in Wyre

We visited the cube with our young family today. We ordered the kids meals, the chicken was spicy and the kids couldn’t eat it. Our kids are not overly fussy, but this chicken did have a kick to it! My daughters meal arrived about 10 mins after everyone else’s. The food we got must have been sat a while as it was soggy and the nacho cheese was like scrambled egg. Also, we waited ages to be served. It’s such a shame as it’s a lovely place to visit. But the standard of the food really lets the Cube down. Hopefully this feedback will help things improve.

Very nice place beer food and staff are A1 service and Dog friendly will be giving it another visit with my dog Lenny

Only had drinks, not tried the good but the cocktails are lovely!

Writing this review as a shout-out to the bartender dan for 10/10 customer service. Will definitely be coming back.

It's great in the Cube, lovely food, goid variety of drinks, great service really friendly, music is good, good place to visit on a night out, lovely beer garden in the back of the pub

Nice tasty fast served food with spot on service. Great if you want a few quick nibbles while out drinking or also a big feast. We've tried the Mexicana heat king prawn salad the , chicken chipotle tacos and loaded nacho's and they're all very nice with decent portions! Plenty of beer & cocktail choices too and the staff are always pleasant and helpful. Our only criticism is my missus isn't overly keen on their white wine selection. The Sauvignon Blanc & Pinot could be better. I'm sure we'd visit more often if they improved the Sauvignon (hint hint).

This place isn’t what it used to be. I’m sorry to say that The Cube has had its day.I’ve been coming here for almost 20 years and it used to be THE place to go with great food, cocktails, prices, curly fries and friendly staff. But after my latest experience I won’t be returning.Two issues;• The staff. All the menus state that you can order via table service or the app. After using the app a few times, we asked if we could order with a waitress, and her attitude was appalling - she told us they were too busy and that it was a big problem and to do so would be doing us a favour. We should have left then!!• The cocktails. We ordered piña coladas and Long Island iced teas. As you can see from my review history, I’m partial to a cocktail and am a mixologist in my own time. What we were served was very poor quality. They all tasted terrible and badly made. We asked to return them all and was told ‘no, they’re perfectly made to our recipe and everyone loves them’. Spending £40 on a round of cocktails on a Thursday afternoon you expect a decent standard. The manager’s attitude was just as bad as the waitresses. We had the cocktails replaced with rum and cokes as no refund was in sight.I have so many happy memories of The Cube from fantastic lunches to family celebrations and nights out and often look forward to returning, but this was terrible. And, to top it off, NO CURLY FRIES on the menu anymore which were my fav.I hope the management can sort things out because they are better than this.

From going in today we were made so welcome. We were offered a blanket. The table was ready. Staff are brilliant. The meal was very good. There is heating everywhere. The cube had done wonders with the outdoor area. Well done the cube. We will be visiting again. 👍👍👍👍
